You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (173.68.139.31) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! Greyjoy talk 08:50, 4 October 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. I reverted one of your changes at Template:URL/doc and looked a little more closely when you made the change again. It does appear that my earlier revert was a mistake and I apologize for that. I would suggest that you create an account so that your contributions may be attributed to you with greater accuracy. Whether you do or not, welcome to Wikipedia. UninvitedCompany 00:13, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
Your recent helpful edits
[edit]Hi, thanks for your edits on Church of St. Joseph (Bronxville, New York). I saw you filled in some of the years of the various pastors. Do you have any references that indicate those are the years they served? I was looking some time ago and couldn't find any? Ergo Sum 01:32, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
- And thanks for Old St. Joseph's Church also. Drmies (talk) 01:40, 15 March 2019 (UTC)

Ref name without quotes
[edit]I'm not sure if you're aware, but the ref names with quotes are a default function of Visual editor and the ref names with quotes are exactly the same as the ref names without quotes. Not a big deal, I just noticed your edit summary. I just noticed your work on the article - keep up the great work there. epicgenius (talk) 02:05, 18 November 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm L293D. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Thomas Ludger Dupré, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. L293D (☎ • ✎) 03:10, 13 December 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 08:48, 27 February 2020 (UTC)
