Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in HMS Talbot (1895), disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. CodeTalker (talk) 00:55, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in HMHS Asturias, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. From the Manual of Style on ship pronouns, your change was reverted as it was inconsistent (instances of she or her were not replaced with it) and no rationale was provided for changing the pronouns to "it/its". Your changes look to be incredibly widespread and limited to only certain portions of the article. Please take a look at how we should write about the pronouns of ships, and if you're going to make these broad changes, make sure it's consistent and you have a good reason to do so. Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Violet Jessop, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. C F A 💬 01:00, 30 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to NMS Smeul (1888), please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it.

The Show preview button is right next to the Publish changes button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 21:53, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Cjse23. I noticed that in this edit to USS Virginian (1904), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Cjse23 (talk) 06:43, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
