To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. If you register an account, you can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you could put a link to it on your user page.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your IP address linked to your contributions page (however, if you create an account, your IP address will be hidden and you will be able to build a custom signature that can link to your own user page), a link to this IP's talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Theroadislong (talk) 21:51, 22 January 2020 (UTC)The article Ripple Island (Washington) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unremarkable uninhabited island; information would be more accessible if covered in the archipelago's article
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
Hi! Why do you think mentioning one of the most high profile members isn't salient? @I dream of horses:
Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to The Living Word Fellowship. That completely avoided answering my question. Are you saying the Anthony Cox wikipage isn't sufficient? Also, the facts of that case are not controversial. The legal proceedings are all public domain. @I dream of horses:
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
