Thank you for your contributions. One of your recent contributions to Chris Paul has been reverted or removed, because it contains speculative or unconfirmed information about a future event. Wikipedia has a policy called "Wikipedia is not a crystal ball", which discourages such edits. Please only add material about future events if it is verifiable, based on a reference to a reliable source. Thank you. Mosmof (talk) 23:43, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

I have reverted your edit to Wakefield, Massachusetts's notable persons list due to your entry of an athlete currently on a Boston sports team. While I have seen previous edits of yours to this list that have constituted vandalism, and I appreciate your effort to submit something constructive this time around, I for one do not believe athletes should be mentioned in "notable residents" lists unless they came from, grew up in, or spent significant formative time in that place. (For examples of athletes correctly on the list, see, for ex., Mark Kumpel, Dave Lapham, Jimmy Pedro, Marcia Pankratz, John Lilley, Joe Cannata.)

Just because a professional athlete gets traded to Boston and buys a house out in Wakefield does not mean he/she gets immediately added on to the list. (One of Wakefield's neighboring towns, Lynnfield, is a hotspot for Boston athlete housing and its notable persons list is rife with this same problem.) Because I appreciate your interest in adding information pertaining to the beautiful Town of Wakefield, it is my hope that you can use these suggestions to assist you in making constructive edits that will not be immediately deleted.

Thank you,
