I hadn't caught on that you meant to type "odd", hence my revert. I can see that you managed to type it right, and thus I won't revert that one. LilianaUwU (talk / contribs) 06:12, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the good-faith edits but I think LilianaUwU was right to revert in this case. 141 isn't the odd natural number following 140, because 140 isn't an odd natural number (in the same way that 141 isn't the natural number following 140½, because 140½ isn't a natural number). We don't normally mention properties such as being odd in the lead. I see that you've made many helpful edits elsewhere, and I hope you will continue your useful contributions to Wikipedia. Thanks again, Certes (talk) 11:28, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Emirp

[edit]

Could you add links ( i.e. [[emirp]] )to the entries where you are adding "an emirp" on some number pages? I added a few of them, but you made a lot of changes.. thanks. Dhrm77 (talk) 23:32, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi 68.150.64.128! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of 243 (number) several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:243 (number), please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Some editors clearly feel that properties such as Harshad numbers are too common to merit a mention in number articles. If you disagree, please seek consensus for their addition on a talk page or at a forum such as WikiProject Numbers. Do not just add the content repeatedly after being reverted.. Edits to number articles

[edit]

Hello 68.150.64.128. I support your edits and additions, for the most part. However, you need to provide proper links and references to your additions. I know it can be a hassle, however it's a standard here for good measure. It let's people see where the information came from, and permits editors to also monitor the quality of information entered. For other guidelines to adding quality information to various number articles, please see WikiProject Numbers and Wikipedia:Notability (numbers), as these are good starting guidelines. Thank you for your contributions, and Happy New Year! Radlrb (talk) 08:27, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, and this seems like a case where communication is required. An edit justified in an edit summary, talk page discussion or other communication is much more likely to be retained, or at least improved by consensus into a form everyone can support. Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Renegades (X Ambassadors song) did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! CurryTime7-24 (talk) 23:29, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
