Request reason:

Why block edits on all articles when you're only pissed about one? I get the idea that you're trying to work for Hillary and suppress any evidence of the Muslim Brotherhood or Islamist connections of Huma Abedin's mother despite people as high as Congress questioning her for it. I guess you are partisan and frantic. But I need to edit articles far removed from this topic, so how about fixing the ban to just this one article?

Decline reason:

Talk page access revoked. PhilKnight (talk) 02:01, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Information icon Hello, I'm XLinkBot. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Lufthansa heist have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links.
Your edit here to Lufthansa heist was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://mafia.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Lufthansa_Heist) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to an external Wiki, then please note that these links should generally not be included (see 'links to avoid' #12).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Per: historyscoper.com, Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Fountains of Bryn Mawr (talk) 21:57, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This is an example of the editor abuse rampant on Wiki. Adding unsourced content contravenes what bureaucratic policy, and the penalty is blocking from all editing of all articles? Why not just Google the name P.F. "Flip" Sloan and find any number of references and insert them without bugging me? Why not just put in a note for anybody to add a source at that point instead of harassment like this?

The onus is on the contributing editor to provide the source. If it's so easy to find a reliable source for this content, then do so. Thank you. Waggie (talk) 03:16, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Emanuel de Witte. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at John Sutter. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Meters (talk) 20:59, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Don't comment out personal information in BLPs. If it needs to be sourced and it isn't then remove it. And don't leave edit summaries claiming you are undoing someone's edit when you don't. Meters (talk) 01:59, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Meters: Nice try covering for yourself, when you blasted me for copying the info box to the main article just because the info box had no source, but left the info box in place, which you never blasted when it was first posted by somebody else. I didn't erase it completely because source or not, it might still be correct and a source might later be uncovered. Comment out personal information? Where? Edit summaries? I didn't write any. OK, you removed it all without due process such as discussing it first on the Talk Page but I don't care that much so I'll let it go.

As for my undo of your first edit, I didn't see the content in the infobox. I saw you adding material directly in front of an existing source. The source did not support the material you added so I removed it as "not in cited source".
As for your secod edit, just how do you explain your edit summary "Undid revision 847771060 by Meters"? Here's my edit that you supposedly undid [1] and here's your edit [2]. Note that my edit was untouched, and your edit was to a completely different part of the article. The only way to get that summary is to undo my edit, and then restore it it and make your other changes before saving the edit. That's a completely deceptive and WP:POINTY edit summary. Meters (talk) 04:11, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You certainly did comment ou thte material. see the diff for your edit [3] where you commented out the birth date and added "no source?" Did you read WP:BLPPRIVACY? WUnless the birth date is "widely published by reliable sources, or by sources linked to the subject such that it may reasonably be inferred that the subject does not object" the birth date is considered private. information. We have no sources for it at all, so it certainly falls under private information. There's no need to discuss it on the talk page before removing it. We are required to remove it. Meters (talk) 04:19, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
This IP is listed as a static IP, and it has had multiple previous warnings for similar unsourced edits. After your edit summary on the undo and your denial of the contenet of your next edit my WP:AGF is done.

Your AGF is done? Duh, first, I didn't really undo your edit, as you saw, but just added my own new edit instead. Too bad, I started out by pressing undo instead of edit, because I was going to undo it at first and add a source but after studying the sources harder realized that none were necessarily reliable but may have been mirrors of the article, although I have no way to be sure so my commenting the info you missed out and asking for somebody else to provide a source was the only logical course. I admit I forgot it started as an undo although it was a new edit, and the note wasn't for you especially. As to your original actions, sorry, but your failure to even scan the page you were vandalizing to see the same info elsewhere left unchallenged is pure carelessness, giving you no blank check to delete it, when you could have added "source needed" instead and not bother me. Ditto all my other so-called warnings for unsourced edits. This one was the most justifiable because it was just a copy of info. elsewhere in the same article, a good faith edit. Considered private? Duh, you failed to do your homework again. The birth date is splashed all over the Net on many sites, and and there's no evidence that the subject has been objecting, hence it's no longer private it's public. My comment was to other Wiki editors and was only visible to them. That was not appropriate on my first edit since I had no way of knowing if the Infobox had been vetted or was confirmed by one of the many urls cited in the article. Yes, it is proper to discuss it on the talk page before completely deleting it since it's so widely published, and hence there's still a good chance there's a source somewhere, and only after further discussion and call for sources should the date be erased, with a private comment for editors to not try to restore it unless they provide a new reliable source. Finally, if it's deleted and later a source pops up, the deletion could embarrass Wiki. But as I already said, I don't care that much and will drop it if you will.

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:74.95.112.141. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://activistteacher.blogspot.com/2017/02/links-to-denis-rancourts-web-pages.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

August 2019[edit]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, as you did at James Holzhauer, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
