why am I banished ?????? !!!!! What is that ???!!!!!--77.207.75.83 (talk) 13:40, 5 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You were blocked for disruptive editing. I'm surprised you didn't get a few warnings first but you repeatedly changed the genres of various films articles to horror without any evidence. I tried to advise you about the need for WP:RS reliable sources and I tried to explain that even if a film has elements of a horror film that doesn't necessarily make it a horror film.
If you show you understand the rules and agree to change your behavior then you could make an appeal and it might be possible to get your block time reduced. -- 109.79.172.66 (talk) 01:15, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

How ?! --77.207.75.83 (talk) 11:14, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

you could have made me "warnings", I do not know how Wikipedia works, can you answer me, please?--77.207.75.83 (talk) 11:47, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I understand your frustration, but you were warned. You removed the warnings. See, for example, this warning, which explicitly warned you that you would be blocked if you continued. The problem is that you're changing film genres to say bizarre things, like that Bumblebee is a horror film. This is an extraordinary claim, and it requires a reliable source to back it up. Box Office Mojo, for example, calls it a "Sci-Fi Action" film. You can't just decide for yourself that something is a horror film despite what the sources say – this is original research and is forbidden on Wikipedia. If you're willing to follow our rules, make an unblock request via {{unblock}}. You should read this guide to unblock requests before you do so; it will help you understand what we want. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 13:08, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I always saw Transformers as the quintessence of the horror movie, why would I change my mind? "extraordinary claim" what is this phrase ?! lots of people tell me that Transformers is a horror movie, I'm not the only one!--77.207.75.83 (talk) 14:52, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

what i have done ?--77.207.75.83 (talk) 11:38, 4 January 2020 (UTC) 2 years ? why ?!!!!!!!!!--77.207.75.83 (talk) 11:38, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits aren't often very helpful from what I've seen. You seem to have good intentions but competence is required. You need to learn how to edit the site properly, if you do that you will likely be allowed back.★Trekker (talk) 23:12, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

i don't deserv 2 years please ! I did no harm! I did not post any insults to anyone! I beg you, don't banish me for two years! --77.207.75.83 (talk) 10:09, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

To be unblocked you must:
  1. Understand why you were blocked
  2. Accept that those behaviours were not in the best interest of Wikipedia
  3. Promise to not do it again

That is all.★Trekker (talk) 07:03, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I accept all the conditions--77.207.75.83 (talk) 08:35, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Then insert this template {{unblock | reason=your reason here ~~~~}} an explain that you truly understand. You should be aware that since you've been blocked before because of these issues, they might not cut you a lot of slack.★Trekker (talk) 09:17, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

because I only placed another genre on a wikipedia page of several movies, I didn't think I would hurt doing this, because I had no bad intentions in doing that, I thought I would enrich the pages, if that hurt someone well then sorry 77.207.75.83 (talk) 11:06, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

It's good that you didn't have bad intentions, but a mess created with good intentions is still a mess. This request does not convince me that you understand what you did and how it was wrong; you will need to describe that, tell what steps you will take to avoid doing it again in the future, and tell what constructive contributions you will make if unblocked. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 11:21, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

the next time before changing the genre of a film, I would ask your opinion in the "talk" page, and you will make the decision whether or not the genre of the film may change, I made a mistake by not not asking for opinion. 77.207.75.83 (talk) 11:24, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have concerns regarding your competence to edit Wikipedia. You have been blocked here multiple times since 2017. You are also blocked on simple.wiki and fr.wiki for the same types of edits, and your edits on es.wiki and pt.wiki were reverted as unhelpful. I don't believe that unblocking you at this time would benefit the encyclopedia. Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 18:10, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. PhilKnight (talk) 21:25, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What specific constructive changes would you make, if unblocked? SQLQuery me! 19:39, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I have looked at your editing history, and three things strike me. (1) Changing film genres is not the only problem. There are also other problems, such as edit-warring, and removing almost all content from an article without explanation. A very large part of the problem is that you do whatever you personally think best, without regard to the opinions of other editors. In fact I can even see talk page messages where you in effect announce that you have no intention of adjusting your editing to take consensus of editors into account, if your personal opinion differs from that consensus. I would be reluctant to unblock you unless you can show an understanding of those problems, and an indication that you would not do likewise again. (2) I am far from convinced that you actually understand what are "good reliable sources", so there is a risk that unblocking you on the basis that you will "no longer change the genre of a film on a Wikipedia page unless [you] find good reliable sources" may not deal with the problem. I would be far happier if you undertook not to change film genres at all, at least for a few years. (3) The substantial majority of your editing consists of changing film genres, and I have not seen a single example of an edit of any other kind which is significantly constructive. I therefore think it is essential for you to answer SQL's question above. There is no point unblocking you unless there is some constructive editing you are likely to do.
