Dorje Shugden article

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. -->

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 07:49, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are User:Yonteng evading your block. So I've blocked this IP William M. Connolley (talk) 08:48, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WMC you appear to be the only person who reads the NKT page that doesnt refer to me as Yonteng under my 167 IP. So I have more than one computer at my disposal. is that a crime? Read the NKT page-when people respond to 167, they call me Yonteng I have not tried to 'hide' this I never attempt to pretemd to be anyone else in any of my 167 edits so you are wrong94.192.139.167 (talk) 08:52, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, we all know this anon is Yonteng. Yongten is blocked; editing under an IP whilst your username is blocked is evading the block William M. Connolley (talk) 09:29, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

'If the law suppposes that, the law is an ass' (Oliver Twist). BTW, I think you will find I edited after 24 hrs and though you wrote 'banned for 72 hours', the ban itself was lifted after 24. Not by me nor at my request! When will you think outside the box and go beyond the word of the law? The NKT page is the Buddhist version of the Scientology one.Cant you see that? Instead of imposing arbitrary bans, why not refer it up? Otherwise, those looking down might frown on the both of us from on high;)94.192.139.167 (talk) 09:50, 12 June 2009 (UTC) If you think Im nuts, take a look at newkadampa.com read the articles and press page for just the tip of the iceberg94.192.139.167 (talk) 10:21, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You're misunderstanding the role of admins, when acting as admins. We do our best to avoid intervening in content, especially in areas that we know little about and don't care much about. As I said, read WP:DR. It isn't up to me to escalate this for you William M. Connolley (talk) 10:29, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced info to the intro, which does not summarize anything in the body of the article, and which gives undue weight to only one 3RS, as discussed on the talk page. Thank you. Emptymountains (talk) 12:19, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The project's content policies require that all articles be written from a neutral point of view, and not introduce bias or give undue weight to viewpoints. Please bear this in mind when making edits such as your recent edit to New Kadampa Tradition. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Tim Song (talk) 09:50, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy to prevent further disruption caused by your engagement in an edit war at New Kadampa Tradition. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to The Beatles (album), even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. McLerristarr / Mclay1 09:20, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
