Speedy deletion nomination of List of Top Ten Cities in Pakistan[edit]

Hello Abcd13.abcd,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged List of Top Ten Cities in Pakistan for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. R!j!n (talk) 09:37, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Top Ten Bollywood films of 2013 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Karl 334 Talk--Contribs 15:37, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Top Ten Bollywood films of 2013 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unnecessary list, also not end of 2013 last I checked.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. For a similar reason, I have speedily deleted the article Rakaat e Namaz; it had almost no content, and wasn't written in English (rather, it was in Arabic script). This is English Wikipedia; Arabic Wikipedia is over there. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 17:00, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for September 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Pakistan Tehwaar Calendar, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Eid, Local and Shaban (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm DoorsAjar. I noticed that you recently removed some content from List of festivals in Pakistan, with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. DoorsAjar (talk) 10:28, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of festivals in Pakistan. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at List of festivals in Pakistan. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. SMS Talk 11:35, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Festivals in Pakistan[edit]

Hello Abcd13.abcd. The articles you are repeatedly creating related to festivals celebrated in Pakistan are duplicate to List of festivals in Pakistan‎ besides having identical title. And the year wise lists you are creating have the same content that repeats every year without any change. Therefore there is nothing useful/encyclopedic and unique content in these article, so please stop creating these, before your good faith edits may be construed as disruptive. --SMS Talk 16:33, 26 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hello Abcd. When contesting a deletion request, one needs to argue against the deletion rationale provided by the nominator. And that argument should be supported by Wikipedia's Deletion policy. Now in this case all of these three articles are nominated because they are duplicating the existing article "List of festivals in Pakistan". So you need to explain how they are not duplicate to that list already here. You may like to read WP:CSD#A10. Regards --SMS Talk 12:36, 28 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • I second that. Making empty threats to and about SMS will merely get you blocked. You must provide reasons why you think these forks should exist. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:25, 28 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Are you aware that you can get blocked for repeatedly recreating these pages and not listening to any of the editors who have posted here? Please don't waste your and others time, either engage in a discussion as to how they are useful or utilize your energy and time in improving the article we already have on this topic. --SMS Talk 10:49, 29 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have been blocked from about 3 months and my block expiry date has not been set yet. I promised wikipedia to do not do any disruptive editing on wikipages. I only wanted to unblock. Thanks Abcd13.abcd (talk) 09:32, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

According to my calendar, you were blocked one month ago, not three. The block is 'indefinite', which means that no expiry period is set. You could be unblocked any time, depending on whether you seem to understand why you were blocked, and convince us that you will be a useful contributot in the future. Do you understand why you have been blocked, and what editing would you plan to do if you were unblocked? Peridon (talk) 10:40, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello, I have been blocked from 29th September 2013 due to disruptive editing. I created some inproppriate pages (Pakistan Tehwaar Calendar 2013, Pakistan Tehwaar Calendar 2014 and Confusion (2013) film). These pages are already deleted. I was busy in real life. Today I logged in. I became surprised to see that I have not been yet unblocked now. Please unblock me. I have already promised administrators that I will never do disruptive editing on wiki. Please unblock.

Decline reason:

I regret that you have been advised incorrectly by another admin. This account was created in August 2013; your other account, Yasir72.multan was created in June 2013 and is therefore your primary account. Please apply there. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 15:38, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Note: I would like to note here that this is not the master account of this user. This user started editing with Yasir72.multan (talk · contribs) and created this account after the master was blocked. Yesterday he posted an unblock request there but the reviewing admin mistakenly told him to file a request here. It would be much helpful if this account block could reflect that this is a sock account. And for further details please see: SPI case page, Suspected, Confirmed socks. -- SMS Talk 09:14, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

More from above two declined requests, two admins advised me to submit unblock request from primary account (User:Yasir72.multan).
I want to say that I am not a sock of Yasir72.multan. He is a sock of me. That is why this is my primary account
Moreover, you can check the block logs. I have been blocked due to disruptive editing and Yasir72.multan have been blocked due to multiple account of me. So it is my orignal and primary account.
I have been blocked from 29th September 2013. Please unblock me now. Thanks. - Abcd13.abcd (talk) 15:42, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps one or the other of us is confused. From the user creation log:
09:04, 3 August 2013 User account Abcd13.abcd was created
14:21, 23 June 2013 User account Yasir72.multan was created
So in what way is this the original account? --jpgordon::==( o ) 17:44, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not be Confused[edit]

Jpgordon ! Do not be confused. I will tell you in detail. You are saying right that Yasir72.multan created in 23 June and Abcd13.abcd was created in 3 August.

1. Yasir72.multan was first blocked with expiry date of 5th August
2. During this Abcd13.abcd was created (on 3rd August)
3. Due to disruptive editing, Abcd13.Abcd blocked on 29th September.
4. On the next day, on 30th September, Yasir72.multan blocked abusing multiple accounts

Now You tell me that which is the primary account after reading the above points. If you are an admin then please unblock me. I am sorry for Sockpuppetry, but what can i do now for my unblocking? Please help me. Thanks - Abcd13.abcd (talk) 05:39, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Primary account" means the first account created by a user, not the first account that was blocked indefinitely. And it is surprising that you attack other editors and post unblock requests at the same time, and expect that you will get through with it. And if I remember correctly you were given a chance to avail a standard offer on your own request but you didn't take it. -- SMS Talk 15:08, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
