National Alliance

Thanks for your congrats, but obviously I am not the one who invented such charcterization. The Economist, for instance, often describes AN as post-fascist. Anyway, as also the MSI, the forerunner of AN, was post-fascist, AN is now actually simply a conservative party.--Checco (talk) 22:12, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I bow to your knowledge of Italian politics...anyway, my intent was not to imply that you'd invented the characterization, but to congratulate you for having your copy lifted by the BBC. Regards, Anameofmyveryown (talk) 01:33, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much! Keep in touch: the European elections are coming... --Checco (talk) 08:51, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Evropská demokratická strana

[edit]

Hello. The party was founded on 26 November, 2008. The Wikipedia article was created on 21 November. I'm checking all new articles about the Czech Republic, and this was suspicious - the support of Václav Havel and other notable personalities, without any links or references. It's O. K. now, here are some links [1] [2] [3] . They're all in Czech though. Btw, the name is a bit confusing, identical with European Democratic Party The Czech section of that party is the Path of Change. Here is a critical comment by Josef Brož, a general secretary of European Democratic Party. It's trustworthy, I can confirm, that the party really exists. Have a nice day. --Vejvančický (talk) 08:24, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good work, it's clear now. I've fixed a minor typo (Czech name). Thanks --Vejvančický (talk) 12:42, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template

[edit]

I appreciate your input at TfD for United States Conference of Mayors. I kind of hope you might feel your arguments apply to discussions about proposed templates at Talk:Sports_Illustrated_Swimsuit_Issue#End_the_sexism_now_-_Swimsuit_Issue and Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Fashion#End_the_sexism_now_-_Magazine_templates.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 02:44, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My reply here and here. Anameofmyveryown (talk) 03:25, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your response. Actually, I could use a response in both locations for the record. I.E., I need one at Talk:Sports_Illustrated_Swimsuit_Issue#End_the_sexism_now_-_Swimsuit_Issue too.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 03:27, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think I need you to split your answer for the two locations. You combined both arguments at one location and the issues a slightly different (though related).--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 03:29, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have the time to split the two, but I have linked my response at WikiProject_Fashion to the Sports Illustrated talk. Hope that helps, Anameofmyveryown (talk) 03:45, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

re: covering Poland for EP2009

[edit]

Hi Anameofmyveryown. I've made a start on European Parliament election, 2009 (Poland) basically translating from the Polish version of the same page and the references on it. You will probably have to check my wording as my knowledge of Politics and its associated wording is limited. I'm have trouble finding any decent sources in English though, so for time being I've put in some references from Polish language sources, until I can locate some. -- Marek.69 talk 03:57, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
