Starting

[edit]

Hello, talk page i am excited to start editing on different ads. (Andreabrisby (talk) 01:11, 28 October 2016 (UTC))[reply]

Hi, and welcome. However, I removed your comment from Wikipedia talk:Signatures because that page is for discussion of the guideline shown at Wikipedia:Signatures. If wanted, ask for help at WP:TEAHOUSE. I am not sure what you mean by "ads". Perhaps you mean "articles". Johnuniq (talk) 01:15, 28 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Andreabrisby, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

December 2016

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Transposable element has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 04:59, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Barbara McClintock. Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Barbara McClintock was changed by Andreabrisby (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.951901 on 2016-12-07T04:59:56+00:00 .

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 04:59, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sandbox

[edit]

Hi Andrea! Welcome to Wikipedia. Just to let you know, you can use your sandbox to write drafts of proposed edits to articles, but please don't link to your sandbox from articles themselves. For more, see Help:My sandbox. Thanks! Λυδαcιτγ 01:32, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
