Disputed fair use rationale for Image:UdayKiran.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:UdayKiran.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 02:22, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Vin09. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Vijayawada, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Vijayawada
[edit]The edit here seems to be an assumptive, the reference do not state it is the largest, pre-assumptive speculation.--Vin09 (talk) 15:41, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
- The phrase "comes under the future capital region of the state after bifurcation" does not make sense - perhaps we should not mention the city's status as capital / admin centre until further down the lead paragraph or until a consensus is reached. Dn9ahx (talk) 19:32, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
- The edit of the user says twin cities, the minister might speak every now and then a new thing, its not that everything newspaper article be presented. Vijayawada and Guntur both are separated by atleast 35kms in distance, and there are several small towns present in between them, unless an Urban agglomeration government gazette is released. It is purely a speculation. A twin city U/A will be like Hubli-Dharwad--Vin09 (talk) 03:21, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:59, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
Andhra Pradesh
[edit]For Vijayawada and Guntur pages its ok, but for the main page of Andhra Pradesh. You can participate in Talk:Andhra_Pradesh#Capital_of_Andhra_Pradesh_.3F discussion, unless the consensus is reached, do not make WP:bold changes. You can express your opinion, and let others decide. Thanks.--Vin09 (talk) 17:13, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
AP page
[edit]While the discussion is still going on why were you changing the info so hurrily. You wrote Guntur, where the wikilink leads to Guntur city page, is the city capital of AP? No, right. So, wait for sometime, till some experienced users give their opinion. You wrote It is being developed under Capital Region Development Authority that includes Guntur City and Vijayawada." Till now the VGTMUDA hasn't been dissolved officially. So, what I say, wait for sometime.--Vin09 (talk) 17:42, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
- @Vin09: Your inputs are now reflected in the Andhra Pradesh article. The Guntur District wiki link is added in the capital info. Also modified the line that has Capital Region Development. You can't wait and watch with completely wrong information in the article. This is against wikipedia standards and integrity. Vja as the capital is completey wrong information and you had that sitting in the article all the while. The article is simply giving false information all this time. That is why Andhra Pradesh article was edited with all the supported references and information and it was well discussed in the talk page for many days. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding. Apstate (talk) 19:39, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
- I think you are talking about this edit? I have not written Vijayawada anywhere, it was only the undid revision, that might have replaced with this older version this edit? which has Vijayawada. I have no where mentioned Vijayawada.--Vin09 (talk) 03:15, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
- At this edit you clearly accept Hyderabad as the de-jure capital. Then why rephrasing again?--Vin09 (talk) 03:20, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
November 2014
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Andhra Pradesh, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, and ideas—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Vin09 (talk) 17:54, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
Capital
[edit]No need to use Guntur in brackets for every page (like in Kakinada page) for AP capital city. Guntur refers to a city that is not a capital. Even if you mention Guntur district also it is not a capital as complete district isn't covered. You can replace where ever Vijayawada is written with proposed capital linking it to AP capital city page. I hope you understand.--Vin09 (talk) 04:35, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 22
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Guntur, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chowdavaram. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
