Speedy deletion nomination of Spiropyran[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Spiropyran. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. Copyrights[edit]

I noted in your Spiropyran article that you included the sentence:

In the present review the principal methods for the production of spiropyrans and certain new aspects of their modification and also their unusual chemical and photochromic applications are examined in detail.

This sentence tripped several warning flags in my mind:

It sounds like it was copied from a journal article (and sure enough, I found the original here).
Wikipedia is not a technical journal, and it should not be written like one.
