Links to draft articles

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to 2026 FIFA World Cup. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 09:20, 24 July 2022 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about July 2022 North American heat wave

Hello, Cabin134, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Bruxton, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, July 2022 North American heat wave, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/July 2022 North American heat wave.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Bruxton}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Information icon Hello, I'm Elijahandskip. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to 2022 Eastern Kentucky floods have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. The AfD (Articles for Deletion) discussion which you began for the article says in the directions, "Feel free to improve the article, but do not remove this notice before the discussion is closed and do not blank the page. For more information, read the guide to deletion." Redirecting the page amid an ongoing discussion is blanking a page, so please do not do that. Please wait until the AfD discussion concludes for results. Elijahandskip (talk) 04:27, 29 July 2022 (UTC)

On a side note, I can tell you are frustrated that the article is not just being merged/deleted right away. I recommend you read WP:RAPID, which talks about other options besides deleting an article, especially through a 7-day AfD process, which can include proposing a merge or PROD, draftifying the article (moving into draftspace) or just improving the article. Unfortunatly, the AfD process takes 7 days unless it is a very clear consensus to close early, which involves the WP:SNOW policy. Hope that helps. Elijahandskip (talk) 04:32, 29 July 2022 (UTC)

Question for you

In multiple edits, you keep saying the Missouri floods and the Kentucky floods are the same flood event. Can you provide a source for that comment, because the floods appear visually to be days apart, so a source saying that would go a long way. I asked you a few times through various discussion, and one was not provided, so I am hoping you can provide one here. Elijahandskip (talk) 22:49, 29 July 2022 (UTC)

yes i have a source😊, I saw it yeastrday and I knew something must have been fishy about the article 2022 Eastern Kentucky floods. [1] also it was also effected in the Same flood:[2]. Cabin134 (talk) 00:41, 30 July 2022 (UTC)

An article you recently created, Statistics of the 2022 monkeypox outbreak, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. this is a article for coding not for reading. Cabin134 (talk) 03:57, 30 July 2022 (UTC)

2022 monkeypox outbreak task force invitation

Hello! I know you have an interest in the ongoing 2022 monkeypox outbreak, so I wanted to invite you to the Monkeypox Outbreak Task Force, which I started from the WikiProject of current events. A task force is similar to a WikiProject, with the exception that a larger WikiProject (in this case, the Current Events WikiProject) "host" the task force. The Monkeypox Outbreak Task Force’s goal is to improve any and all articles relating to the new outbreak. I hope you consider joining! Elijahandskip (talk) 21:35, 30 July 2022 (UTC)

sounds intreasting, Thanks for telling me about this. Cabin134 (talk) 21:36, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
