San Jose Group[edit]

Just a couple tips. I noticed your edits tend to add a lot of spaces in between references. We normally put the references right after the period and with no space between references. We also prefer to avoid excessive citations, like some of the clients with 4 cites. Just 1 is ok - 2 or more if it is a POV type statement. There's also a pretty serious problem with the references at the moment due to something in your last editing round. Corporate Minion 21:47, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Too Long[edit]

Check out [Hoffman Agency] to see what I mean. There should only be about 3-4 paragraphs on notable campaigns. Corporate 21:03, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I checked out The Hoffman Agency entry, and I would like to clarify a couple of things. The Hoffman Agency is strictly PR where as The San Jose Group is PR, Consulting and Advertising; thus, there will be a broader range of notable campaigns. Both PR and Advertising campaigns have received coverage from local and national media, and authors have written about a dozen campaigns and published case studies in text books-- which are notable, 3rd party sources. I have looked at almost every Wikipedia page under the [Agencies of the United States] category and some have very few campaigns noted, others such as GlobalHue have several more than The San Jose Group entry. There doesn't seem to be specific guidelines for these company Wikipedia entries, only that campaigns are notable and written from a neutral point of view. However, if you could point me into the direction of formatting guidelines, I would appreciate the help and be mindful for future edits.
With that in mind, I very much appreciate your edits, suggestions and patience; I will be continuing to trim some of the lighter information such as Anheuser-Busch and add to even more content to notable campaigns such as US Cellular. I have also seen Wikipedia entries that have clients and campaigns listed, what are your thoughts separating those out into different categories (ie Notable Clients, Notable Advertising Campaigns, Notable PR Campaigns?
I don't believe the Notable PR Campaigns category is too long-- there are only four campaigns, each from different years and different industries. Can I remove the edit box from the article, or do you recommend I had headers, such as those in the Hoffman Agency entry before removing the edit box?
Thanks for all your help!Casslbre (talk) 22:25, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Having a more diverse range of services is not a good argument for more extensive examples of an organization's work. However, if you like, you may seek a third editor's opinion. Corporate 00:24, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Great. Also, can you address some of my other questions from my last post on this talk page?Casslbre (talk) 14:14, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
