Dundee

If you wish to change the population in this article you will need to cite the source of your information so that others can verify that it is correct. You see the <ref name="population">{{cite web | title = Population Matters | work = Dundee City Council | url = http://www.dundeecity.gov.uk/ptrans/popmatts.pdf | accessdate = 2006-07-06 }}</ref> that is in the text after the population figure. That generates the little [1] next to the figure whcih is a link to the listing in the references section. Hey Christopher. Your page Christopher Batten must have gotten deleted before you got the chance to put the hangon message on it. When I saw it, all it had in it was {{hangon}}. Why don't you work on the article on your user page or a subpage of it like User:Cbatten565/Christopher Batten. When it's done, you can show it to me or another editor and we can decide whether it's suitable for an article in wikipedia, and we can move it to the main article space if it is. Please note, though, that the article won't be allowed unless you're somewhat famous or otherwise notable. That is because all articles must be attributable to reliable sources, and if you're not famous there's not going to be enough info on you to verify the article. Bio Pages

Create an entry for yourself on one of the many social networking websites.
Many ISPs allow you to create your own website, often at no extra charge.

With the above options your biography will be protected from being edited by others, unlike a Wikipedia article.

You may create a wiki at EditThis.info or one of the other wiki farms.
If you are attempting to make an entry for genealogical purposes, you may find WikiTree.org a useful site (but please do not simply copy material to Wikitree unless you are the original author - their license terms are different from Wikipedia's).
If you are, or intend to become, a regular Wikipedia contributor, please use your user page (user:Cbatten565) to post biographical information about yourself.
