Information icon Hello. Some of your recent genre changes have conflicted with our neutral point of view and/or verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 20:59, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Genres

[edit]

Hello! I do not know your edit history but I would like to assume good faith and add a comment regarding genres. Most infoboxes for literature-related articles do not include a lot of specific information because of so much nuance. We tend to leave lines like "genre" blank. It makes more sense to add text to the body of the article discussing why critics and commentators have categorized the work into certain genres -- and, of course, include reliable sources to that text. I hope that is more helpful than the warnings above. --Midnightdreary (talk) 22:45, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
