[edit]Hello, Chadith. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Native copper, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. SpinningSpark 23:13, 5 May 2017 (UTC)

. SpinningSpark 08:42, 6 May 2017 (UTC)Hello. Your recent edits to Knutsen and Chad appear to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Request reason:
Hello, my post was meant to give a higher quality photo of native copper that was specially produced to remove the mineral matrix without damaging the natural shape of the specimen. I only listed the www.iroquoiscopper.com because that was where the photo was posted online first, and that was who I shot the photo for. I understand that may have crossed the line between advertising and educating, and I apologize and have read your guidelines more carefully so as to not have this mistake happen in the future. My intent was solely to share a better visual, I understand the need to stop folks from turning wikipedia into a billboard, rather than a library. I genuinely intend to do nothing but contribute valuable information to the online database and community, I would appreciate an unblock if you deem it appropriate. Many thanks, Chad
Decline reason:
I'm sorry, but I don't think you listed the website here because that was where the photo was posted. Your entire contributions are promotional and seem consistent with commercial spamming. Huon (talk) 22:21, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- So you are saying you aren't editing Wikipedia as part of your job with Cornucopia Group? And that when you took the photo for Iroquois Copper, you, personally, retained the copyright? Huon (talk) 19:52, 12 May 2017 (UTC)
Thank you for asking for clarity. No I am not editing as a part of my work with Cornucopia Group. And yes I retained the copyright to the photo of Native Copper that I shot personally. Chadith (talk) 20:06, 12 May 2017 (UTC)Chadith
I am concerned you appear to have set up K.Roland (talk · contribs) to get around your block. --Yamla (talk) 00:34, 13 May 2017 (UTC)
Nay mate, that is a good friend of mine who is working from my home office today and wished to create an account to read the guidelines and submit the requisite information and references related to some additions to an article including a list of notable people, he was going to submit the pertaining news articles and more to supplement and verify according to the wiki guidelines. I've studied the guides now myself as well and understand the mistake I had made in one or two of my posts and will avoid such pitfalls in the future. I appreciate you volunteering your time to Moderate here. Someones gotta do it.Chadith (talk) 01:14, 13 May 2017 (UTC)
