Hi Clemensmarabu, I have been doing my best to make your new article look and function like a proper Wikipedia article, but really I know hardly anything about the subjects it covers. I have been trying to attract some interest from editors who know more than I do about Tibet and about coins and so on. Hopefully someone will come along soon who can help more than I can. Best to you, Invertzoo (talk) 15:21, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Clemensmarabu, I have seen your beautiful contribution of Historical money of Tibet. Thank you very much! This is a great addition to Wikipedia. You have added many references to the article, and I see also in a later contribution that you have found new material from references. Now it would be a great amelioration when these references would be tagged right away at the ending of each section by using "<ref>sourcename"</ref>" Do you still know what parts of the text comes from which source? It would be very fine if you could add them behind each section. Don't worry if it is not really done in the Wikipedia way: I'll bring it up to Wikipedia standards afterwards where needed. Can you pleas look and answer me here or at my talk page? Thx. Davin (talk) 18:51, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ups, I'm sorry, I didn't see the sources at first. Now I can do it myself. I'l pick it up now. Davin (talk) 18:55, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm done now. There are still some parts that don't have direct reference tags. Could you please look how I did it and try to do it as I changed the rest. In case you'd like to have it done by me, please make it easy for yourself and make me clear in the text what comes from which source. Thank you again for your work. Davin (talk) 20:45, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

can you please answer? More links to the article will do no good. Davin (talk) 18:03, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Davin Thank you very much for your editing. In the original article I have indicated all the sources which I used in the main text in brackets (author and year of publication). I would like to insert sime pictures of those coins which are mentioned in the article, but so far I had no success in doing so. bertschtibet 12 January 2009

Please remember to mark your edits as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Thank you. Gimme danger (talk) 06:39, 4 March 2009 (UTC) I will try to keep this in mind.[reply]

Thanks so much for the lovely photo of the memorial to Ekai Kawaguchi in Nepal. Great! Sincerely, John Hill (talk) 10:15, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

tibet

[edit]

DEAR Clemensmarabu, please don't take Mongolia as an example, it helps nothing but only proves your innocence. Was Mongolia a country in that time?

If you really want to replace “any” by “most”, it's just as simple as find out a country that opposed Chinese sov/soz on Tibet. There were dozens of countries, aren't you able to find one among them?

I advice you not to change the wording again before finding out propre arguments, I'll persistently keep an eye on the article.--LaGrandefr (talk) 13:12, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Artikeln

[edit]

Lieber Clemens Marabu,

Mit freundlichem Gruß, Davin (talk) 11:50, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

Hi Clemensmarabu, as you are blocked in the german Wikipedia I ask you here: Do you want to appeal the block or do you want me to do this for you or don´t you care? Greetings, --Wissling (talk) 08:28, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Wissling, thank you very much for your kind offer to do something about me being "unbefristet gesperrt". As I discovered that I am allowed to insert comments on my "Benutzerseite", I commented already on my unjustified "Sperrung". Thanks again for trying to get me unblocked.

Clemensmarabu (talk) 13:56, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

...look here, do you have any questions about this? --Wissling (talk) 07:51, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
So, your choice(?) --Wissling (talk) 09:35, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

IP comment on your German talk page

[edit]

Maybe you wrote a messaged as an IP on your German talk page (see here). Nevertheless, this is just an assumption. Thus, I have reverted the above mentioned statement as it was signed as "clemensmarabu", which can not be verified. If you want to leave a message, please first sign-in, then write your comment and sign it. Thanks. -- Wo st 01 (talk | rate) 20:53, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

Hi Clemensmarabu,

Can you speak Tibetan? --Jose77 (talk) 07:55, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I understand some Tibetan (self-taught), and can speak some very basic Tibetan.Clemensmarabu (talk) 17:41, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Tibetan naming conventions

[edit]

A while back, I posted a new proposal for Tibetan naming conventions, i.e. conventions that can be used to determine the most appropriate titles for articles related to the Tibetan region. This came out of discussions about article titles on Talk:Qamdo and Talk:Lhoka (Shannan) Prefecture. I hope that discussions on the proposal's talk page will lead to consensus in favour of making these conventions official, but so far only a few editors have left comments. If you would be interested in taking a look at the proposed naming conventions and giving your opinion, I would definitely appreciate it. Thanks—Nat Krause(Talk!·What have I done?) 20:41, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Countermark, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shroff. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

DYK for Four harmonious animals

[edit]

On 7 April 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Four harmonious animals, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the tale "Town Musicians of Bremen" by the Brothers Grimm has been connected with the Buddhist legend about four harmonious animals? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Four harmonious animals. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Four harmonious animals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
