Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to List of earthquakes in the Philippines does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Sockpuppetry

[edit]

Hi it's been brought to my attention that a checkuser on Commons has blocked the account P88 Xft as being a sockpuppet of yours, which you used to evade your block over there. I see that P88 Xft edit 2022 Luzon earthquake, an article which you have edited many times through this account, but you have not publicly disclosed the connection between the accounts. In light of the guidance offered there, please explain why you were editing an article using two separate accounts. Girth Summit (blether) 13:00, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please accept my apologies - the note I left above was intended for someone else. I'm not sure how I managed to post it on your talk page - I can only assume that I clicked on the wrong link from the article's history or something like that. Again, sorry for my carelessness.
