Disambiguation link notification for July 29[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

wp:Village pump (policy)#Authors' works lists Cheers Adakiko (talk) 00:09, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for letting me know. I'm going to reply. the reason I didn't give rationalizations to the 151 ip user for getting rid of his reversions is because he (falsely) believed that my usage of cite book was wrong and didn't discuss it with me before whole-sale deleting my hard work. which makes me sadface (and frustrated). maybe I should just explain in the future. I appreciated the help. Create a template (talk) 09:09, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

August 2022[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Create a template", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it is misleading, per WP:MISLEADNAME, and suggests your account is a template creation tool. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:04, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering about that. Time to get a new username or account! Cheers Adakiko (talk) 00:21, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I came here to say the same - your username is a bit confusing. Tacyarg (talk) 10:43, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:56, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Names of prizes[edit]

If a book or author wins a prize we should use the name the prize had at that time, rather than its later name. I've corrected Constructing a Nervous System and reinstated the link to the official prize site, the most reliable source we have for anything and which you removed without explanation. April 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! DoctorMatt (talk) 19:16, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Award. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because some of the information is inaccurate, and I would like to address some issues in draftspace. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 00:40, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
