DChou88, the material you added falls under WP:EXCEPTIONAL and requires some pretty good sourcing to be kept. I agree with you that if it's true, it's not defamatory - you just need to prove it's true when you add it. @Amortias: appears to have taken a broad use of the term - while not incorrect, I see how it was confusing to you.
