Well, it's something untruthful when "acting president" is something that does not appears in the Argentine Constitution. Still, if he was "acting president", then why this is the only wikipedia article listing the acting presidents (I don't see the two small windows of time of Cheney being acting president in the Bush article) or why are not listed the other "acting presidents" of Macri's term. 188.61.3.218 (talk) 22:35, 16 June 2017 (UTC)

Brad Friedel edits

Hello DJ Austin. Thank you for your response and for explaining some of the essentials of the editing process. Being my first time, I was not aware of the protocols, and I was familiarising myself with the rules of Wikipedia edits. So apologies for the delayed response. I am still not fully immersed, but at least I now have a cursory understanding. The main point is that I need to disclose a conflict of interest in relation to the Brad Friedel Wikipedia page. I am a member of Mr Friedel’s legal team. The section of the article quotes sources (no. 37 and no. 38) which have subsequently been removed from publication (as you will see if you click on the links) because there were a number of legal issues. I was ensuring that this was reflected in the Wikipedia article when I made the edits. I would be grateful if you would restore those edits. Of course, given my conflict of interest, I will withdraw and not make any further edits myself.IWB (talk) 17:11, 5 July 2017 (UTC)

Quick AfD film nominations

DJAustin, I noticed your two nominations for Between Heaven and Earth and Ismail Yassine in the Navy. I also noticed that you nominated these while the article creator was still working on them and did not appear to review their further edits adding sources. Given that you nominated one 18 minutes after initial creation and the other a mere 3 minutes after creation, this has the appearance of overly-hasty new article patrol without conducting WP:BEFORE. These are both non-English language films from 1960 and 1957 (respectively) so we should not expect online English sources but there are at least indications of available sources which should have been noted in the AfD. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
