Welcome!

A tag has been placed on EU Playstation Forums requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. roleplayer 23:03, 14 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Magic Kingdom, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Your recent edits

[edit]

Greetings ... I've noticed a lot of your edits to articles related to theme parks. Unfortunately, a number of them don't meet the requirements of these articles and have been undone. For example, edits describing when attractions will be closed, or special things that might happen at attractions, are beyond the scope of these articles. Wikipedia is not a travel guide, nor is it a how-to guide. It's meant to be an encyclopedia, providing people information on the attraction's history, contents, etc. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask them here or on my talk page. Thanks, and happy editing! --McDoobAU93 (talk) 17:26, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Resistance 3 has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbkXTSs3bvU&feature=channel. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 20:49, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for File:FLEMK.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:FLEMK.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:07, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:DisneyVac.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Acather96 (talk) 15:55, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

== File:GreatMride.JPG missing description details ==
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:GreatMride.JPG is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors to make better use of the image, and it will be more informative for readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Acather96 (talk) 16:01, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please do not continue to upload files missing information on their copyright status, as you did with File:ExpressPlus.jpg. Note that Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously and that the copyright status of all media files uploaded to Wikipedia must be verifiable by others. If you are unsure of the correct copyright template, please refer to the list of image copyright tags. If you would like to experiment with uploading files, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. This file is not yours so it should not be claimed as yours. I have corrected the rationale. Have a look so this mistake is not made again. Themeparkgc  Talk  21:12, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Universal Studios Florida. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. License tagging for File:Lostcontinent.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Lostcontinent.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:08, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:GaGaVMA.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for repeatedly uploading copyright images and claiming to release them into the public domain as your own work, exposing Wikipedia to potential legal problems. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

I have been blocked until september 19 at 15:14 and it is now 15:37.Can you explain that?

Decline reason:

{{unblock|It's 15:56 GMT here and and my unblock should have been unblocked at 15:14 GMT}}.

No, it was 14:56 Greenwich Mean Time everywhere when you posted that message. UK and Ireland are not GMT during the Summer months. Your block will expire at 16:14 your local time, as I explained.

I've also been reviewing more of your image uploads. More on this later.... CIreland (talk) 15:00, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I've been reviewing your remaining uploads using a reverse image search. It's clear that you have, either by malice or mistake, claimed to be the creator of a number of images when you did not create them. For this reason, I am going to delete all your uploads as suspect. Blocked

[edit]

You were previously blocked for repeatedly uploading images and claiming to be the copyright holder when this was patently not the case. Since your block expired you have re-uploaded a number of the images, still claiming to be the copyright holder.

For some images (e.g. the logo for Marian College (Dublin)) you are obviously not the copyright holder. For some images (e.g. File:TMLmk.jpg) I was able to use a reverse image search to find this image on the internet. For other images, the camera meta-data implies that you must own an implausible variety of photographic equipment if all these image are really yours.

Because your claim to own the copyright is clearly false in a number of cases, I must assume it may be false in all cases. Consequently, I am going to re-delete all your uploads.

Because you have recently been blocked for this and yet have continued, I am blocking this account indefinitely. If you wish to be unblocked, you should indicate in the unblock request that you understand the reason for your block and give a plausible undertaking not to repeat the same behaviour. The reviewing administrator will have to be completely convinced that you will not continue to place Wikipedia in legal jeopardy.

Request reason:

I apologize for re-uploading the images as i didnt realize you were talking about them images and i promise not to upload any more copyrighted images.

Decline reason:

Dozens of notifications, and you did not realize? ANY photograph that you did not take by yourself is copyright to someone else, and cannot be uploaded the way you did - this was made abundantly clear. I cannot accept "I didn't realize you meant THOSE images" as anywhere close to a valid excuse. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 19:51, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:ExpressPlus.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:ExpressPlus.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:02, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
