My first Wikipedia mistake

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 22:32, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Little Orphan Annie. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Serols (talk) 19:09, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Little Orphan Annie, you may be blocked from editing. Serols (talk) 19:10, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Serols, I wasn't meaning to be disruptive, but from the wikipedia policy that I have read the section that I removed was far too long. In any event I have left a note on the talk page. Thank you for your feedback.--Diego Huerta (talk) 19:33, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Per wp:linkrot, please try to fix the link. If unable or unwilling, please tag it with the wp:template {{Dead link|date=November 2024}} "dl" for short.
Also, please sign your talk with four tildes (see above) Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 05:18, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the advice, Ill try to remember next time

There shouldn't be any reason to announce it on the talk page talk:David Wolfe (nutritionist) unless you have some insight on how to resolve the issue. Adding it once would be more than enough. Jim1138 (talk) 05:19, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I'm new to Wikipedia and I'll keep that in mind
You are welcome. I forgot to add the reference: wp:talk page guidelines Jim1138 (talk) 05:24, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your editing Little Orphan Anne. Please see wp:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle (BRD)on what to do if someone reverts you. Repeatedly reverting or undoing other's edits is wp:edit warring and is often a problem on Wikipedia which tends to bring the wp:administrators out. Please follow BRD guidelines and wp:dispute resolution in such cases. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 07:33, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Diego Huerta! I saw you recently edited a page related to the Green party and green politics. There is a new WikiProject that has been formed - WikiProject Green Politics and I thought this might be something you'd be interested in joining! So please head on over to the project page and take a look! Thanks for your time. Me-123567-Me (talk) 18:50, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
