[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Lincolnshire Bombers Roller Girls has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://sideburnmag.blogspot.com/2008/12/roller-derby.html, http://haggischorizo.blogspot.com/2009/05/its-bomber.html, http://sideburnmag.blogspot.com/2009/11/roller-derby-extravaganza.html. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Lincolnshire Bombers Roller Girls
[edit]Hi! I noticed that the Lincolnshire Bombers Roller Girls article had been nominated for deletion, so I've done what I can to see if it can survive the process. As part of this, I'm afraid I've had to trim it back a lot - generally Wikipedia prefers information which can be verified in reliable sources, so we can only really add what we can find that is published (given certain exceptions). As a result I had to pull out some of the discussion and information that I couldn't source. I'm hoping that we can expand it again, but the first priority, I think, is to make sure that it meets all the policies so that it will survive deletion. My apologies, though, as I preferred the way you had written it, but I needed to bring it back to meet Wikipedia's requirements.
As an aside, they sound like a great team. :) - Bilby (talk) 13:55, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
- I forgot to add - if you have any questions I can help you with, feel free to toss them my way, either here or on my talk page. - Bilby (talk) 05:02, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
