A tag has been placed on Pilgrim (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. buidhe 16:17, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

According to the wikipedia page on notability (musical), my article is credible. Rule 5: "Has released two or more albums on a major record label or on one of the more important indie labels (i.e., an independent label with a history of more than a few years, and with a roster of performers, many of whom are independently notable)". My article stated in the infobox that the bands label was Metal Blade Record who have existed since 1982 and have worked with many significant bands within the genre. I was wondering if my article could be returned as a draft so that I could add references and potentially more information in order to better state the notability of the band DohRitow0804 (talk) 13:54, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unless you can provide references conveying notability, this article will also be subject to Speedy deletion. David notMD (talk) 21:26, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies, I am new to creating Wikipedia pages and was wondering what would qualify as a sufficient reference? DohRitow0804 (talk) 21:33, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Notability (music) may help. David notMD (talk) 03:05, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My article on Pilgrim reached on of the requirements. It says that if a band have released two or more albums on a major record label (or a less important indie one). My article said that the band are part of Metal Blade Records which are a record label founded in 1982 and have worked with a number of significant bands. Go to Talk page of the editor who deleted it and ask why deleted and if it can be restored to draft. David notMD (talk) 13:42, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thankyou DohRitow0804 (talk) 14:02, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
