AfC notification: Draft:Rob Morgan has a new comment
[edit]- User:DouglasMackenzie - Is this the same person as was founder of The Squirrels, or are there two musicians named Rob Morgan? Robert McClenon (talk) 20:17, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
- Robert McClenonHello! Thanks for asking, and for your help as this is my first page creation and I'm excited to become part of the community. No, this is a different musician named Rob Morgan. The one for the page I'm making has become semi-famous because of the band Owl City and his podcast, so I wanted to start a page as a place for actual facts about him. Any Wiki advice you have is welcomed. DouglasMackenzie (talk) 15:42, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
- I have a Wikipedia question, then. How do we distinguish between the two Rob Morgans in the disambiguation list Rob Morgan? Robert McClenon (talk) 18:51, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
- Great question! (and probably why we need this wiki page even more for clarity). I think we'd have to distinguish by birthdate and association. Maybe we emphasize the younger one is also a writer and podcast host?: Rob Morgan (musician)(born 1960's?), founder and lead vocalist of The Squirrels :: Rob Morgan (musician, writer, podcast host)(born 1985), bassist for the electronic band Owl City. Thoughts on how we could better clarify? DouglasMackenzie (talk) 16:12, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
