Adding reference to Wikipedia articles
[edit]Hello Dr Amil Sharma! Please do not forget to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Adding well-formatted references is easy.
- While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite". Click on it.
- Then click on "templates".
- Choose the most appropriate template and then fill all relevant details. You can start with the field (e.g. URL) that has a magnifying glass icon and then click the magnifying glass to automatically populate the fields for you.
This will add a well-formatted reference, which will allow other people to see where you got your information from. You can read more about this at Help:Edit toolbar, or watch this video: File:RefTools.ogv. Thanks and regards. —DBigXrayᗙ 14:12, 3 September 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Insulam Simia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Ashutosh Kaushik, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. You'd need a proper reliable source. See WP:RS. The article Kamyak Van has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Requires a fundamental rewrite and reliable sources (i.e. books, news, scholarly writing, not YouTube videos) in order to be encyclopedic.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Doga (comics), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. DBigXrayᗙ 14:12, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
