06:28, 15 February 2015 (UTC) Thank you Geniac

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Ammayilu Abbayilu, and it appears to include material copied directly from www.telugu-news.com/cinema/reviews/2514_ammayilu-abbayilu.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ammayilu Abbayilu, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It appears to be a clear copyright infringement of www.telugu-news.com/cinema/reviews/2514_ammayilu-abbayilu.html. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.

  • It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Non-Dropframe talk 14:52, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Party (2006 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shashank. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:28, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Editing privileges revoked for repeatedly copying plot summaries from external websites

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted.

Please take this opportunity to be sure you understand our copyright policy and our policies regarding how to use non-free content. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  MER-C 20:26, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have understood that using plots from websites or copyrighted sources is a violation. Kindly unblock me as this will not happen again. Thank you Dsdeepak33 (talk) 08:00, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you ignore so many warnings that you were doing something wrong? PhilKnight (talk) 23:57, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi PhilKnight i was warned only once regarding the same article edit, and after that by the time i understood i was blocked from editing.

I'm not particularly convinced because you were warned three times, and inserted the same problematic content four times. To alleviate my concerns, please answer this question -- how would you write a plot summary that is suitable for Wikipedia? MER-C 12:08, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi MER-C, The Plot summary is a brief summary of the plot which explains the story without revealing the twists and turns but making them familiar with the characters and the plot of the movie, in my own words. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 183.82.109.41 (talk) 14:41, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is passable... barely. Wikipedia plot summaries are expected to contain spoilers, because they must accurately describe what happens. I'll let someone else decide whether to unblock. MER-C 21:10, 13 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've read episode summaries for dozens of TV shows on wikipedia and for the most part they're copied off sites like TVGuide and Zap2it. I have to wonder if that okay in reviewing this case. VegasCasinoKid (talk) 11:41, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Copyvio plot summaries are a widespread problem on Wikipedia. You should be removing them on sight. MER-C 17:21, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@MER-C: Do we have a plan going forward on the block, itself? Should we reduce to time-served for now? --slakrtalk / 18:23, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yep. MER-C 18:51, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A tag has been placed on Kumar Nagendra, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
