You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Spezial:Meine Benutzerseite/Artikelentwurf requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.eaad.net/uploads/media/EAAD_Factsheet_2017.pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:22, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

September 2018[edit]

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:28, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I understand that my account has ben blocked due to the name I have chosen. I was not aware that names of organisations are not allowed. I am sorry fot that mistake. The purpose of the page was never for advertising since the organisation I was writing about is a non-profit organisation. My aim was to provide information about the organisation and it's work and goals in order to get people to know about it's existence. If I get unblocked I intend to write informative articles about the findings and the work of the non-profit organisation EAAD, which is working for the improvement of the treatment of people suffering from depression. It is important for people to know about the existence of this organisation in order to enable them to reach out for help and support. I will hereby take care to not hurt the copyright rules again.

Decline reason:

What you are describing is exactly advertising. You are literally trying to let more people know about your organisation. Anyway, I'm afraid we won't allow this, as we've previously said. If you'd like to write about something else, please follow the instructions above and we'll consider an unblock. I'm afraid, though, if your only goal is to write about EAAD, we can't unblock you. Dear Yamla[edit]

Dear Yamla,

The page about the non-profit organisation is intended to deliver neutral information about the existence of it. Other NGOs are also listed on Wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UNICEF https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brot_f%C3%BCr_die_Welt

Could you advise me how the page about the EAAD should look in order to not be understood as "advertisement"? EAAD e.V. (talk) 13:48, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Only pages on the English wikipedia are relevant. Please provide evidence that the UNICEF page was written by UNICEF employees, in violation of WP:COI and WP:PAID, otherwise, your argument is irrelevant. In fact, it's irrelevant anyway; see WP:OTHERSTUFF. Either way, as you are required to adhere to the policies we've linked to, you won't be unblocked to write about EAAD because as you know, that's not permitted. --Yamla (talk) 14:56, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
A Wikipedia aticle should summarize what reliable third-party sources have reported about the subject. You aim to raise awareness of the subject and summarized (or, more precisely, copy-pasted) what the organization says about itself. I'll also add that, far from being neutral, the draft you wrote was so promotional that I suspect even factual accuracy was sacrificed in favor of great-sounding phrases.
