Hey Efe, how are you? We haven't heard each other for a while. I used your source in the article, you can see it, in the reception section of the video. Btw have you got something more to add on the PR. Currently, I'm trying to find more reliable sources, as User:Nikkimaria, addressed some questionable. From your issues, stays the chord progression, should I just remove it? Greetings Tomica1111 • Question Existing? 23:47, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
- Wow. You get lots of peer reviews. Left comment there. --Efe (talk) 12:29, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

- Interesting. How did you know my teacher was a female. Well, Cambridge counts but as a word not to be used while writing proper English. I do not know why. Jivesh • Talk2Me 11:48, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
- No. I did not know she was a she. I personally think the usage of but is fine in proper English, although there are rules that count. --Efe (talk) 11:57, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
- So you guessed. And exactly, ans i think it is better to use however since we already know the word. Jivesh • Talk2Me 12:01, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

Rihanna Rude Boy discussion at GAN
I just put the url you posted in braces. Hope its right. — Legolas (talk2me) 13:16, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
- Yah. Thanks for that Legolas. I actually made it in purpose, 1. is for other users to see clearly was was being changed, 2. and I am tired. hehe. But that's fine, so that the page is mess free. Anyways, I've observed there's a lot of "shit" (sorry for the term) going on in GAN. Poor reviews and the "reciprocate" trend. --Efe (talk) 13:21, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
- You are seeing just a fragment of it now. Me and three other users had vehemently opposed and brought down that reciprocating system of reviews, while you were MIA. Guess its creeping back again. — Legolas (talk2me) 13:24, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

Re
Hi Mark. I have decided to withdraw the nomination, as I am leaving for a month starting tonight. I just honestly wanted to tell you a few things that puzzle me. First off, the last few comments you've left I don't think merit an oppose, and I don't think they weren't fair. Not only did you not even give one example for any of the 3, they were in a manner that I could not deal with them: "Still needs trimming". Sorry, but to maintain an oppose for that is not what I'd consider fair. Also, you make it increasingly difficult to work with at an FAC due to your 1 day a week availability. I appreciate your help in the PR, and the (helpful) pointers at the FAC. Last thing, I tried to help you with the Phil Collins song, but since you haven't replied to what I've asked of you, I guess you don't want it. Good luck.--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 01:07, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
- The FAC was dragging. While I tried my best to nitpick the article, still it is not up to snuff. I have provided actionable comments that were the bases of my Oppose. Your quick replies and actions were very much appreciated, but the FAC has gone through some weeks and my additions just give my the impression that the FAC (Mimi in particular) is going on a round of Peer Review. I necessarily don't have to give all my comments there. Sad to say, other editors just give comments without deciding whether to Oppose or Support. It didn't come to a consensus. --Efe (talk) 01:48, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
- Regarding the Collins stuff, I will act on it when you're back. Even if you can give me scan copy of something, still I cannot guarantee I can work on it. --Efe (talk) 01:48, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
- It's fine. I really am not upset Mark. I could not continue anyway, I must leave for a full month, so it really must be withdrawn. Your comments were indeed very helpful and plentiful, so I appreciate that. Next round I hope there won't be such large and hefty fixes needed to be done. As for Collins, I guess you will have to wait a month now for the scan lol. Anyways, take care and I'll see you again mid-October :)--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 01:52, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
- Please have a "refreshing" vacation. When you come back, you will see it before your eyes what needs to be done. Take care, too. Regards, Efe (talk) 01:56, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

- Saw Novice's comment. Thanks for asking him[?]. Anyway, I checked on the source page and it seems the one who uploaded it on Flickr is dubious. I mean, I had experience with uploading free images from Flickr, and usually free images go with so much details (camera, settings, etc) on the source page. Its like they're uploaded directly from the original copy. --Efe (talk) 12:27, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Sorry for being a stalker Mark. I am a male, don't worry :D Usually images have EXIF data (well, sometimes they're not displayed in Flickr though). The images don't have any. Plus, the fact that the user is a JT fan increased my doubts. Fans usually tend to upload lots of copyvios as free images. Novice7 (talk) 12:31, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm worried about that. Being an admin, I have the responsibility to check on copyright violations. And as of now, I don't time dissecting that source page to determine whether the pictures are free or just copied elsewhere. I am hoping that first two are free though. Its bad I have this huge project coming. --Efe (talk) 12:38, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

Hello
Hello, I notice you are a close collaborator to Nathan/User:Petergriffin9901 as well as an admin and good article veteran. As Nathan is gone for an entire month, he will be unable to complete his review of my nomination of the article, The Drug in Me Is You. I was wondering if you would be willing to finish the review to keep the GA process moving along. I think Nathan was trying admirably well to conclude all his reviews before he left but unfortunately couldn't finish mine and one other. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help resolve the matter. GroundZ3R0 002 04:41, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
- Hi Ground. I actually have limited time on weekdays, and I can only edit extensively on weekends. If no one can take over the review until Saturday, I will do it. In fact, to give you some assurance, I already have read the article. Thanks. --Efe (talk) 00:58, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for agreeing. I will see if anyone else is available, but I would not mind in the least waiting until saturday if no one else can. I will message you saturday and see how things develop. Thanks again, GroundZ3R0 002 04:17, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
- I updated the review page. I will review it later. --Efe (talk) 02:14, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking on the The Drug in Me Is You review, it's very much appreciated. I did post, as you saw, to get any other reviewer to take over but nobody responded. I know you are thoroughly capable though and hope this article doesn't give you too much trouble, glad to have you on board. Thanks again, GroundZ3R0 002 04:25, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

- Yes, I saw them yesterday. I would be more happy if I will do the crossing out of those comments so that I can check them one-by-one. Thanks. --Efe (talk) 07:06, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- Oh okay no problem I will go ahead and unstrike those so you can look through them. Also, do you have the review page watchlisted? Just checking so I don't pester you every time I address comments, its up to you either way. GroundZ3R0 002 07:33, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- Yes its on my watchlist. Please don't edit now. Maybe later. I am currently updating it. Thanks. --Efe (talk) 07:38, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

Question
Hi Mark, How are you doing? Can we promote GAs to A-Class articles if the article is about a song or an album? Jivesh 1205 (talk / Make sure you give 4 a try!!!) 09:30, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

- Can you please try to improve the lead here? Please. Jivesh 1205 (talk / Make sure you give 4 a try!!!) 10:34, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- I tried, but I think there's some lapses in the lead. For example, you introduce directly the components of the scent, its ingredients, etc. There's an info, but that was because critics noted it. What is the company releasing it? Etc etc. --Efe (talk) 12:02, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- What do you mean by What is the company releasing it?? Jivesh 1205 (talk / Make sure you give 4 a try!!!) 12:06, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I don't know if I was asking the right question, but I presume that every product should have a single company releasing it, like those albums. --Efe (talk) 12:09, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- Oh yes, i understand now. Well you are very right. Mark, what articles (songs) by Beyonce can be taken to FAC in the coming months according to you? I have already expanded all of them and most of them have been copy-edited by quite good copy-editors. Jivesh 1205 (talk / Make sure you give 4 a try!!!) 12:12, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- I don't know. I have not even visited some of her songs since I had a break from Wiki. Although I have "Crazy" in my list for future FAC. --Efe (talk) 12:17, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

- Yeah, no problem stay cool and take your time. However, I would like to ask you something. Do you know how many octaves is from low note of F3 to B4. I want to write it in the article and than remove the chord progression, but I don't want the sentence to become very simple and unsuitable. Thanks — Tomica1111 • Question Existing? 16:33, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

- Efe, but why removing the summary for the live performances from the lead? — Tomica1111 • Question Existing? 12:31, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- Its up to you if you'd like to add it back. IMO, there's no point if it is just plainly added to the lead. So what if she performed it? Significant? --Efe (talk) 12:34, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- Haha =)! Jivesh is so cool, he freaked me off with the comment. Btw you made "Irreplaceable" a FA. And I can see that there is a live performances summary in the lead
- I usually add info about live performance when they're significant enough. Regarding "Irreplaceable" and "Baby Boy", both FAs to which I have significantly contributed, have been recognized by the ASCAP as among those songs most performed in their respective years. And these two songs, among others, have notably been Knowles' staples on concert gigs and live performances. --Efe (talk) 12:54, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- I just prefer to keep it (FOR NOW). When I nominate it for a FA if there any complainments for it I will remove it. Btw I don't have an idea how to expand the background :@ ! — Tomica1111 • Question Existing? 13:00, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah. Its up to you. Mine was perhaps an "implemented" suggestion. haha. Regarding the background, you just add that previously Timbaland and Timberlake worked on the latter's albums, and that his writing the song on his head (and not on paper) was a "technique" (perhaps you choose for a better term) used during the production of FutureSex/LoveSounds. You need to give background more by saying that he does that because doing otherwise would "slow him down". --Efe (talk) 13:06, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

S&M
I know that S&M will not become an FA, but I can't help but think that after 2PRs, 3 GANs and 3 FACs, where at least 25 editors must have been involved in helping me improve the article, that it is better than a GA now. Can the article be updated to an A class article? Calvin • NaNaNaC'mon! 14:14, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
- Its just around the corner Calvin, that bronze star you've been wanting to achieve for S&M. As you have said, the article has gone through many PRs and FACs, and from it, you meticulously correct the article based on the FA criteria. I can see your effort in that baby of yours. You get somebody who's a veteran when it comes to FAC. Based from the article, I highly suggest you get help from someone good in organization and research, and also good in copyediting. As regards to your query, you might want to start from here: Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment. Yours truly, Efe (talk) 14:23, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
- I really don't think it will become an FA, and I have no faith in the GOCE, they really screwed up the article last time. Calvin • NaNaNaC'mon! 14:30, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
- Not that I wanted you to go back to GOCE after what happened. You browse the FAC page and the current and previous candidates, and check who helped in each in the copyediting. --Efe (talk) 14:33, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
- Okay. Thanks. I think the current FAC will be closed any time soon. I think when it is, I will proceed with A class nomination, and then give it some time before I nominate for FAC again, I'm thinking a few months, maybe some more info about the song might come up. Calvin • NaNaNaC'mon! 14:36, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
- Good idea. --Efe (talk) 14:38, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

KT FA Review
Hello Efe - I have read and responded to your points in the Wikipedia:Featured_article_candidates/The_Kingston_Trio/archive1. I've been directed by Karanacs to check with you and see if the changes meet with your approval - would appreciate your taking a second look. Sensei48 (talk) 18:20, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

Some points
Hey, "Hard" GAR needs to be closed now, it's of GA standard. Also, Rihanna's new song, We Found Love, has been re-directed twice by an editor as he claims that as the song hasn't charted, the article shouldn't exist, even though the song is going to premiere tomorrow (Thursday 22). I feel that the article should be open, because info is coming up about it everyday and as I just said, it's going to premiere tomorrow. Also, if this is the case, and the article should remain re-directed because it hasn't charted on this basis alone, then Criminal (Britney Spears song) should also be re-directed, as it hasn't charted and isn't due for radio release for another 3 weeks. Calvin • NaNaNaC'mon! 14:49, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
- Calvin, he is right. Actually "Criminal" is far better if you compare. It is well maintained and has considerable amount of information. It has also charted. Read Reception. ★Jivesh 1205★ (talk / ♫♫Give 4 a try!!!♫♫) 17:28, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
- As "We Found Love" currently stands, it does not even meet WP:GNG. ★Jivesh 1205★ (talk / ♫♫Give 4 a try!!!♫♫) 17:29, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
- I know that Criminal is of much higher informational standard. And I didn't see it had charted in that one line sentence, I look for a table displaying the charts and didni't see one. Calvin • NaNaNaC'mon! 22:51, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
- My two cents. It doesn't matter if its well maintained or has been stuffed with information. The key point there if it meets GNG. What is happening now in the "fanatic's world" (and sorry for saying this) is that when a song gets a single chart position, they stuff the article with reviews to make it appear notable. So it passes AfD. --Efe (talk) 13:21, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
- I have to agree with you Mark. Novice7 (talk) 13:37, 24 September 2011 (UTC)

The Drug in Me Is You
Hey there. I've gone through the The Drug in Me Is You GA and completed every bullet you've pointed out. A few things: "Tracking", in regards to music, does not have a linkable page, so I left it. I also removed both reviews you did not find appropriate, but now there are much too many positive reviews compared to negative, leaning a bias for an album that got mixed reviews (in my opinion, i've found more negative). How should we resolve this, because I can't find any notable negative reviews. The ones that were on there were the best I believe. GroundZ3R0 002 03:01, 22 September 2011 (UTC)

Question
Hi Mark. I have a question. So, I'm working on an album project: User:Novice7/Sandbox2. If I asked for a histomerge: Most Wanted (Hilary Duff album), would that create parallel histories?
