Welcome!

Hello, Electronicpaule, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

Also, I've gone ahead and added a [[Category:National parks of India]] tag to several of your articles; you may be interested in adding it to your other national park articles as well. --Alan Au 22:17, 23 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Wheel of Time[edit]

Hi. Please refrain from adding minor WOT character articles. Wikipdia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Any character (fictional or not) has to generally satisfy notability and importance, which minor characters do not. These articles WILL be deleted sooner or later so don't waste your effort. Feel free to add to main articles on Lan, Moiraine etc. Zunaid 11:43, 24 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated most of the shorter and less notable character articles for speedy deletion, but have been advised that they do not fit the criteria. An alternative suggestion is to list minor characters under an article like List of Aes Sedai or some such. Zunaid 14:19, 24 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Paul. On that same note, those little incomplete sentences about those Asian lakes really aren't articles. Hanging a stub notice isn't a guarantee they'll grow either. Can you add any more to these? - Lucky 6.9 04:22, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yes geo-stubs like that are really useful but they tend to annoy deletionists. See if you get any interesting google results. Kappa 04:25, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • Kappa has a tendency to vote to keep things you wouldn't find in a phone book.  :)) I'm not a deletionist at all. I thought you were probably thinking of adding more to these. Have fun! - Lucky 6.9 04:27, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

India related links[edit]

Hi, keep up the good work on national parks of India. You may also want to check if you are not creating a duplicate article as some of these parks are spelt in different ways. Pl. find below, some links that may be of interest to you. --Gurubrahma 17:43, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your article about Mangeshi (Mangueshi) Temple at Goa[edit]

I guess, the name Mangueshi is incorrect. It shoud've been Mangeshi. Can you indicate the source of this name please.

Mangesh is Lord Shiva and hence Mangeshi is the name of village where this temple is situated.

Needless to say, Your contribution is valuable. Cheers

Fuhai[edit]

Hi there,

I was repairing disambiguation links to Altay (you can help - it's great fun!) and stumbled upon your Fuhai article.

I don't know much about China. Could you please sort it into some category?

Thanks in advance!--Amir E. Aharoni 18:08, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. 132 16:22, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Norine Dovarna[edit]

The article Norine Dovarna has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
