Singapore Business Federation moved to draftspace

[edit]

Please see log comment. MrsSnoozyTurtle (talk) 08:57, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@MrsSnoozyTurtle: Hi there, I would like to clarify which specific parts of the article you feel are promotional and why there is a need to move the article into the draft space. Thanks. Eliyr (talk) 12:18, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Eliyr. My concern is with the intro and History sections, and that the article should be independently reviewed at AfC prior to publication, to ensure that it is NPOV and encyclopaedic. Regards, MrsSnoozyTurtle (talk) 05:13, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, thanks. I will take some to fix the tone of the article when I am free and then submit it for review at AfC when I'm done. Thanks. Eliyr (talk) 12:00, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Lim Ming Yan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. DYK for Chang Yun Chung

[edit]

On 16 March 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Chang Yun Chung, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Chang Yun Chung, formerly the world's oldest billionaire, was captured during the Japanese occupation for aiding anti-Japanese resistance in Malaya? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Chang Yun Chung. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Chang Yun Chung), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (ie, 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Signatures

[edit]

Hello Eliyr. I note that you had created vectorised signatures of the Singapore leaders. However, do note that the PD-signature tag does not cover Singapore as it is a common law country, and per guidelines on Commons, the signatures are copyrighted under Singapore law and they cannot be uploaded to Commons.

You will need to nominate them for all deletion and upload them to English Wikipedia servers in the United States. Please see the example on Lee Kuan Yew's page. I will have to nominate them for deletion in a few days if you prefer not to do it yourself. Do let me know if you require any assistance, thanks. Seloloving (talk) 02:59, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
