Admin

[edit]

I'm contacting an admin to get this cleared up. And by the way, there has been discussion on adding pics, and cleaning up the death section of this article. I don't remember you contributing to this. So you might want to actually read the talk pages instead of requesting discussion on something that has already been discussed. Hello

[edit]

I apologize for you getting caught up in this mess at the Gerald Ford article. I understand that your intention was only meant to improve the article through the photo. I, and others, appreciate your contributions. Please, if someone were to take your photo out again today, do not add it back. It would be unfortunate for you to have to be blocked over this situation. Thanks, Metros232 03:10, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Grand Rapids Cavallo 2.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Grand Rapids Cavallo 2.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:08, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

Copyvio images of downtown Grand Rapids, MI

[edit]

Even though I admit commons:Image:Downtownskyline.jpg is better than commons:Image:Gr skyline.jpg as the lead image of the article, copyvio is copyvio. I reverted your edits to de-link those images from the article. Also, please be noticed that commons:Image:Downtownskyline.jpg will be speedy-deleted due to copyvio. Yassie 16:48, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Again, STOP POSTING COPYVIO IMAGES. Yassie 11:41, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What exactly do you mean by a Copyvio? --Eman1114
This image is copyrighted. "Additional Information" column tells it is "All Rights Reserved". commons:Commons:Deletion requests/Image:Grskyline114.jpg is submitted by the original author as Copyvio. Yassie 22:15, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
