Jerk
OK. I was in the midst of blocking someone who was using it as an attack page, and I thus thought it was a hoax. Good call. Daniel Case (talk) 17:05, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

- I'm afraid I don't understand what you're saying. Are you saying that you're attempting to move content from the Spanish Wikipedia to the English Wikipedia? WikiPuppies bark dig 18:42, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
English page is outdated, is more current in Spanish
Required then updated this page in English
- Oh, I see. Thanks for the clarification. WikiPuppies bark dig 19:19, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
Question
I reverted an edit that had somebody's supposed phone number in it and I wasn't sure if it should be removed from the editing history altogether, if the user should be warned or what. Is there something more I should do with it? Here it is: [1] Thanks! Ghostwheel ʘ 05:43, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
- I see they were warned by others for adding spam, so I guess it's being taken care of. Ghostwheel ʘ 05:53, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
- Well, that particular edit is old news by now, but if you spot any other phone numbers or other personal information, email this "user" to request suppression, after reverting and warning the user. See here for guidelines on what warrants oversight. Cheers. WikiPuppies bark dig 14:36, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

MCT page
Looks like my article submission was declined, and now "McClatchy-Tribune Information Services" redirects to The McClatchy Company. The problem is that this page doesn't even mention MCT!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/MCT
Help! Is there anything I can do at this point?
--Media Maven (talk) 21:39, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hi again! Sorry for the delay in getting back to you...I've been extremely busy over the last few days, and so haven't had time to log on.
- Anyway, you might try posting something like this at the article's "talk page":
{{Request edit}}
<what you'd like added, with reliable sources to back it up>
~~~~
- The "{{Request edit}}" code will raise a signal asking other editors to review your request, and, if what you'd like to add is neutral, reliably sourced, and notable enough for inclusion, your request will be fulfilled.
- If you need help, or have any other questions, feel free to drop a note. I hope this helps. WikiPuppies bark dig 17:34, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
New post from Media Maven, Jan. 11, 2013
Hi WikiPuppies! Thanks for your reply. I went on the help desk live chat and received a lot of advice. One editor suggested I add some information on MCT to the McClatchy and Tribune articles, then link to my proposed article, once it's live. I made those additions.
Another editor suggested I convert the timeline format in my history section (article is here-->http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/MCT) to a narrative format, more similar to McClatchy and Tribune articles. So I did that. Can you please take a look at the article and the edits in the McClatchy and Tribune articles and let me know what I should do next?
--Media Maven (talk) 20:04, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hi. Here are a few comments on the article and your edits.
- The article: Your draft is turning out very nicely! I'm gratified to see that you've incorporated my suggestions into your article. My only suggestion is that you fill out the "infobox" that another editor (Ronhjones, I think) added. This will create the sidebar that appears in articles like this one.
- Your edits: I see no problems with what you added. However, I would recommend that you add an edit summary which briefly describes what you changed. Here's what the box looks like:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
By publishing changes, you agree to the Terms of Use, and you irrevocably agree to release your contribution under the CC BY-SA 4.0 License and the GFDL. You agree that a hyperlink or URL is sufficient attribution under the Creative Commons license.
- With an edit summary, editors know what you did, where you did it, and why you did it. It also reduces the chance of someone mistaking your edits for vandalism.
- If you'd like more suggestions, or if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to drop a note! I'm quite willing to help you with anything. Happy editing! WikiPuppies bark dig 03:59, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
Progress on WP:Snuggle and work log
I've been making some progress on Snuggle development recently and I could use your feedback. Specifically, I've created a work log that I plan to update every time I get a chance to work on Snuggle. My intention is that you'll be able to watch that page to track my progress so I can get your feedback on features when they are early in development. The most recent entry (also the only entry) discusses new functionality for interacting with newcomers via Snuggle. I posted some mockups in the work log that show how I imagine the new features to work and I could use some feedback before I start writing the code. Thanks! --EpochFail(talk • work) 20:29, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
