Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Battle of Actium, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 22:11, 22 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Citing sources

[edit]

Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources to learn how to do this properly. I'll clean up the ones you just added. Deb (talk) 13:18, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

When I removed your recent contribution, I mistakenly wrote in my edit summary: "Undid revision 963176707 by Epicc1235647 (talk) - doesn't seem to mention Antony's birth date (which is in September)". Of course, I meant "which is NOT in September". Deb (talk) 11:02, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, what you are doing now is just disruptive editing, and if you continue I will have to block you from editing DOTY articles as you are just adding different unreferenced information to the same article over and over again. I've also moved your new article to Draft:Antony’s Armenian Conquest because it doesn't meet the criteria for inclusion in the encyclopedia. You can work on it there to try and bring it up to standard. Deb (talk) 15:06, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is my latest edit alright? The Wikipedia article and my inline source both agree.

Yes, but please format correctly next time. I already gave you instructions for that, but on this occasion I will clean it up for you. Deb (talk) 18:01, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Fernando Alonso, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Progressive. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:38, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Epicc1235647. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Antony’s campaign against Armenia".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 00:37, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not disputing the veracity of the information you tried to add. However, you removed other referenced content, messed up the header formatting, and didn't cite your sources correctly. Deb (talk) 14:46, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited September 18, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gettysburg.
