Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your article about the Apostolic Generation Church is very short and has little context. As it stands there is nothing to suggest the notability of this church. Will you be adding further material shortly which will demonstrate why there should be an encyclopaedic article about it? B1atv 08:01, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
- --Fjahja 08:11, 5 October 2007 (UTC) Yes. This is my first time editing in wikipedia.org. I am still learning the editing technique and im planning to add lots more information about this church.
- Okay - please ensure you include evidence about the notability of the church, otherwise you risk it being deleted. B1atv 08:25, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
- What is notability?
- Take a look at WP:Notability - basically an article must cite reliable verifiable third party sources to attest that the organisation being written about is notable. Many people assume that because something exists it can have an article about it on Wikipedia; but in actual fact it has to be notable. Has the church been written about in newspapers? Are there any formally published books which mentions the church in any way? Internet blogs, private websites and church websites don't count as sources for notability. All the information about what is notable as far as Wikipedia is concerned is available at WP:Notability. Enjoy editing Wikipedia. B1atv 08:36, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Indri Gautama.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Indri Gautama.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 13:42, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:GGA.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:GGA.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:05, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Image source problem with Image:Indri Gautama.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Indri Gautama.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:27, 7 October 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. VegitaU 15:27, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- Same for Image:Kuningan Place.jpg -- Ricky81682 (talk) 19:34, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hey ricky, i'm abit confused with the tagging of the pictures ive uploaded. I acquire Image:Kuningan Place.jpg from a friendster.com page, in which the source is unkown. Which tag should i use for this?
- You're going to have to help me a bit more. Do you have a link to actual page it was posted on (not to the direct image)? From there, we can ask the actual person who uploaded it (assume it's their image) for permission to use it. There are example requests. I'll admit it's pretty annoying to do all this but there are some serious concerns with copyright. If you can't confirm, we could try asking the developers themselves (I'd guess that having an article on the 7th most visited website on the Internet might encourage them to allow a picture). =) Logos are a little easier, which is why I took care of Image:GGA.jpg for you. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 06:43, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

- Rick thanks for helping me with Image:GGA.jpg. As for Image:Kuningan Place.jpg, i have yet to ask the shareholder for permission right if you meant that way. BUt i will be glad if you can help me getting the permission from the developer itself. The important thing is that i do not want the image to be deleted yet.

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. The article consisted only of an external link and a "see also" section, which is insufficient context. Moonriddengirl 19:56, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Places
[edit]If they exist - you do not have to worry about permssion for an article to exist - it is usually permissions is to do with the photographs if they are taken from copyright sources. Places and articles can exist - there is nothing to worry about SatuSuro 03:59, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Ok. So I have removed the picture of the building. Thank you for your reply. (Fjahja (talk) 04:32, 24 September 2008 (UTC))

Proposed deletion of Kuningan Place
[edit]The article Kuningan Place has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- no references to significant mentions in reliable independent sources
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- 1Wiki8Q5G7FviTHBac3dx8HhdNYwDVstR (talk) 20:14, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
