Monty Hall argument

[edit]

Hi - Can you answer the questions here? -- Rick Block (talk) 16:49, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The vos Savant “Goat” is Revealed

[edit]

You addition of the section on the above to Talk:Game theory‎‎ breaks many wikipedia policies. It looks like Wikipedia:No original research as there are no references to published material, it breaks WP:NOTFORUM as wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought. It break Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines as it is not relating to the content of the article. Repeated reinsertion of the same material will lead to a successions of warning and possibly a block. --Salix alba (talk): 10:00, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please read this essay?

[edit]

FourthKind, can you please read the essay Wikipedia:HONEYTRAP and tell me if anything that it explains sounds familiar to you? You don't seem to think in the same way as the majority of other editors, and this makes it difficult having a conversation with you. I wonder if you are not a neurotypical editor (no offense intended), in which case it would help us all to follow the advice in that essay, which was compiled by other editors in that situation. Thanks for your time. Diego (talk) 15:45, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Still not willing to fill out the table?

[edit]

Hi - Why are you so unwilling to fill out the table about 300 shows? Do you have no idea what numbers to put? Doing this really, truly will help. Like I said here, I'm not going to comment on your thoughts until you do this. -- Rick Block (talk) 17:01, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

And, BTW, this is directly related to the exact point you are trying to make. VSM is talking about all 300 of the shows I want you to think about. MHP is not. Fundamentally, this is what you are saying. -- Rick Block (talk) 17:28, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Still don't understand?

[edit]

Hi - Based on this edit it appears you still don't understand that at Q2, in reality, the odds are 1/3:2/3 - not 1/2:1/2.

Can we talk about this right here?

Please reply "yes" or "no" (no long lectures, please). -- Rick Block (talk) 17:24, 9 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Given your continued posts at both talk:Monty Hall problem and Talk:Monty_Hall_problem/Arguments I gather your answer is "no". OK. Have a nice life. -- Rick Block (talk) 04:57, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
