Orphaned non-free media (Image:Katliam.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Katliam.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 19:48, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Oypa

[edit]

I have nominated Oypa, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Oypa. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. La Badarian's travels

[edit]

Hi: What is your graphist's opinion of the map of New England illustrating Claude La Badarian's travels. It was worked on diligently by MissMJ but she seems to have disappeared, so I'm wondering who will follow up. And even if this SVG is enabling to collaboration or not. Can you look @ some of the older requests on the graphics lab that have gone "Stale" ? If they are done, they should be marked "{{resolved}}". 68.39.174.238 (talk) 16:06, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

Sorry I have been a little busy and was unable to finish your request. But I am back and I will finish it as soon as I can but no promises yet- I've never done maps before! but I will definitely take a shot at it. Sodacan (talk) 11:11, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would recommend posting a request on WT:UKRAINE. While I do get a good gist of what the text says, I am not a native speaker of Ukrainian and only have very limited training in the language. Sorry!—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 15:50, October 20, 2009 (UTC)

Selam Gökçe. Bu ne demek ? Ne ima etmeye çalıştınız ? O listeyle bayağı uğraştık. Fakat bir türlü olmuyor ? Neden ? Türk devletleri listesi, List of Turkic states and empires doğru mu ? Yanlış mı ? Tabi ki yanlış bilgilerle doludur. Takabeg (talk) 13:34, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Woow i am so surprised and impressed to see you here Gökçe:) demek burda da devam ha?Bunu hiç bilmiyordum.

Plevne March

[edit]

Hello, I'm trying to translate the Plevne march form Turkish to English, in it's different forms, and I'm having difficulties. I was hoping you could help me. I have the basic lyrics down, but I'm not what some of the lines mean. On the other hand, your lyrics, second paragraph (talking about the Russians, Muscovites)is completely different from what I've seen before. Thanks in advance, from a fellow history fan. I've already discussed this with a Turkish member on s history forum I go to, and he was very helpful. Wastedgrunt36 —Preceding undated comment added 05:02, 7 March 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Well, my good friend, I unfortunately don't speak Turkish, so this makes the translation process difficult, I have to find the lyrics online, and then I have to put it in Google translate, which isn't perfect. After that, I rephrase and structure the sentences better for the final product. I don't know which version to use(what is the original?), but these two lines in particular don't make sense to me after translation;

Tuna nehri akmam diyor Etrafımı yıkmam diyor.

Thanks Wastedgrunt36 —Preceding undated comment added 21:10, 17 March 2011 (UTC).[reply]

What exactly does that mean, "I don't burst my banks", or "I don't flow". This has puzzled me.

Wastedgrunt36 —Preceding undated comment added 05:07, 23 April 2011 (UTC).[reply]

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

[edit]

I won't be able to rewrite it in the actual article as it's going up for FAC, but the sentence basically means the film is a way of expressing his feelings on the politics of the 1970s. Regards, --Tærkast (Discuss) 21:39, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Vikipedide doğruluk ve objektif politikalarını savunan tüm Türk Vikipedistlere

[edit]

— Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.224.30.11 (talk) 00:44, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Translation

[edit]
  • Hi. I'm from Turkish Wikipedia. I want this article to be featured article. I'm going to add a few sentences to the article. But the sentences are in German. Could you translate them to English please?
  • Thanks... --Gökçe Yörük (talk) 23:21, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Really tricky ones, but I'll give it a try.
  • This change of pace allows (enables) him to empathetically introduce Laurie's character, and to hone the melancholic appearing adolescent as a role model.
  • Unfortunately the exposition until the climax of creeps (horror) is so lengthy and trivial, one is no longer thrilled by the fascination of evil when a slaughter occurs, but only annoyed by the only too obvious speculation, the pleasurable joy of teenage sex and bloodshed.
The latter one barely makes sense, regardless of language. Hope I could help anyway. --bender235 (talk) 23:46, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
