September 2016[edit]

Gabrielvargavargabros (talk) 01:07, 25 September 2016 (UTC) this is getting ridiculous. Gabrielvargavargabros (talk) 01:07, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Gabrielvargavargabros (talk) 00:57, 25 September 2016 (UTC) Updated my own personal WIKI page to include my social media content. Not sure how I can verify this further... If you google me you will find that my IG, Facebook, and Twitter accounts are authenticated as @gabrielvargaofficial for FB and IG and @vargabros Twitter. I also added my spouse to my page. I need to tie in my social media to my wiki page. I also keep getting denied adding a photo of myself... Can you suggest the best way to do this? I want to use the same photo I use on my Facebook. Glory kickboxing who owns the photo has already approved this. [1]Gabrielvargavargabros (talk) 00:57, 25 September 2016 (UTC) Gabriel Varga[reply]

Social media and twitter are generally not considered reliable sources. You should also read WP:AUTOBIO, as editing an article about yourself is discouraged. Adam9007 (talk) 01:05, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Adam9007. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Gabriel Varga, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Adam9007 (talk) 00:44, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Gabriel Varga. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Adam9007 (talk) 00:52, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources[edit]

The wp:selfpublished sources such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc., are not considered wp:reliable sources. Please use a major news source. Please be aware that we have no way of verifying who you are without significant work. So, a newspaper would be preferred. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 01:05, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Gabriel Varga. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.
