Álvaro
[edit]Hi, thanks for your contributions on Álvaro Rodríguez, but as you could see it is almost turning out to be an edit war. First of all, I just want you to know that AUF (Uruguayan Football Association) is a federation which count all the matches they have played when it is about their youth teams. That is the way they have kept their stats all these years. This is why they consider Álvaro's Uruguay debut on 12 January against Colón. See https://twitter.com/Uruguay/status/1613533761324343297 for example. Or the source of match at https://www.auf.org.uy/amistoso-uruguay-colon/. So there is nothing like official or unofficial when it is about matches of youth teams of Uruguay.
Just to give an example on my first point, here is Fede Valverde's youth profile (https://www.auf.org.uy/16-federico-valverde-2017/). His first ever match in Uruguay youth team was for U15 team against the Argentine club Newell's Old Boys. And those stats are obviously counted in the infobox in Federico Valverde. And as another example, see how Facundo Pellistri's all matches for youth teams of Uruguay are against clubs (https://www.auf.org.uy/debutantes-de-la-4a-fecha-del-torneo-intermedio-2019/) and it is counted in his infobox. This is the same for almost all Uruguay players who have represented the youth teams.
Hope you understand this. Thanks again! Kokoeist (talk) 19:36, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
