The article Jayden Aben has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Suspect Hoax, as wiki pages nor official pages mention him at all in the V8 series. Only google hits are to his facebook. Additionally, would have been 12 during the 2008 racing season, and, though not entirely sure, that is too young to drive legally, let alone race an actual car (not a kart) legally.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ravendrop 03:51, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jayden Aben, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You've placed a hang on on NZV8 Whangarei Championship Series‎. Would you care to explain why it should not be deleted? --Falcadore (talk) 23:47, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jason Richards[edit]

For your information - The Albert Park event is not part of the International V8 Supercars Championship and is not covered by this article. That information would be carried by the event specific article - which would be 2011 Albert Park 400. See also 2011 V8 Supercar season. --Falcadore (talk) 03:37, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Top 20 V8 Supercars Teams Ever[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Top 20 V8 Supercars Teams Ever. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Highest_grossing_films. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Highest_grossing_films - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Sitush (talk) 14:41, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on V8 Supercars New Zealand Round Winners requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

Article content[edit]

You seem to having difficulty understanding what constitutes good material for a Wikipedia article. Do you need some help? --Falcadore (talk) 00:21, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Scott McLaughlin (racing driver). The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Greg Murphy Racing[edit]

How can the team have taken six pole positions when they have only competed in four V8 Supercar races, two bathursts and two Phillip Island 500s? --Falcadore (talk) 09:07, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Steven Johnson[edit]

Would you mind fixing the errors on Steven Johnson (racing driver)? Please check your links and grammar. The articles on Charlie O'Brien and Dick Johnson are not about racing drivers. --Falcadore (talk) 06:18, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Steven Johnson (racing driver), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dick Johnson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Stone Brothers Racing[edit]

Wikipedia is not the place to indulge in the creation of long lists? The purpose of Wikipedia is to provide overviews of subjects, not exhaustive lists of supplementary trivia. (refer Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_an_indiscriminate_collection_of_information) There are plenty of places in the internet where an exhaustive list of every driver who has ever driven for Stone Borthers Racing would be a good idea, but the content of an articles on Stone Brothers Racing should most prominently explain who and what Stone Brothers Racing is and what they have done. A long list of drivers does not explain whether SBR is a good team or a bad team.

Put in another way, when you talk to people you don't talk to them in a list. You talk in sentences, because they provided the most well rounded form of communication.

The articles should be about what is most important to the subject. Drivers who have driven for SBR once or twice, and not even finished a race are not important to the article. Drivers like Steven Richards who have only driven for them twice, but won the Bathurst 1000 are more important than Alex Davison who raced for SBR for many years but did not win anything.

Maybe this may help:
