Welcome!

Hello, Gyeah, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Thanks for uploading Image:Dresta_BG_knocc_out-sm.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Notability

[edit]

I've tagged Tyrone brooks for speedy deletion because it is an article about a person that does not assert any significance or importance. Please see WP:BIO for notability guidelines concerning biographies. -- Scientizzle 00:21, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do not remove speedy deletion tags. If you want to contest the deletion of a page, place {{hangon}} in the article and explain ASAP on the talk page why the article should not be deleted. I have reapplied the tag to Tyrone brooks. -- Scientizzle 01:12, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Dirtyredmedw7.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Dirtyredmedw7.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:03, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Playa Hamm

[edit]

Gyeah, I've just speedy deleted Playa Hamm for the third time. If you're going to recreate the article, you need to do something more to assert his notability.--Kchase T 08:20, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dirty red

[edit]

The article Dirty red has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 19:55, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Gyeah! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 671 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Top Dogg - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Goldie Loc - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 17:37, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Top Dogg for deletion

[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Top Dogg, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Top Dogg until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Whpq (talk) 19:05, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Big Pimpin' Delemond has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

BLP that has been here unsourced since 2006. I couldn't find any significant coverage, and aside from contributing to a few tracks with other artists there doesn't appear to be much of a claim to notability here.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Michig (talk) 09:06, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
