[edit]Hello, I'm Tgeorgescu. I noticed that you recently removed content from List of Church Fathers without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. tgeorgescu (talk) 06:29, 15 September 2022 (UTC)
- Sorry for the lack of explanation. The reason why I removed it was because I do not think St. Barnabas can be considered a Church Father, given that he lived in the apostolic age prior the patristic era, and the Epistle of Barnabas is not an actual writing of his HIPPOCLIDES (talk) 13:23, 15 September 2022 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Justin the Confessor, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Orthodox Church. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Hi HIPPOCLIDES! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Eve that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. - Thanks for letting me know. My fault if my edit was in error. HIPPOCLIDES (talk) 20:16, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Elisæus of Albania, you removed content without adequately explaining why. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 21:40, 23 November 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed a recent edit you made does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! tgeorgescu (talk) 02:33, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! tgeorgescu (talk) 05:55, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
