Amakohia Ubi is a community in the Owerri West Local Government area of Imo State. The community is divided into four villages which includes; Umunjam, Obiokwu, Umuike,and Umuoka. Each of these villages have at least eight kindreds. Amakohia - Ubi is bounded by Ndegwu, Irete, Orogwe, Ohii, Okwukwu, Ogbaku, Agwa. The people are dorminantly Christians with majority being Catholic and Anglican with few pentecostal Christians and pagans.
