Language links[edit]

Hi. I noticed you've been adding links to the Arabic Wikipedia to various articles. Note that English Wikipedia is transferring all language links to Wikidata. You can add such links to Wikidata by using the "Edit links" link at the end of the languages menu section of each article, and it will automatically be displayed in the article.

For example, you added a link in this edit. I've moved it to d:Q316706, in the section "List of pages linked to this item" (click on "add" at the bottom of that section to add another language link). This link will appear in all Wikipedia language versions that currently support Wikidata. Mindmatrix 15:34, 21 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please, stop to use a deprecated method for interlanguage links. Do you have some troubles with Wikidata? Can you read in English at all? Incnis Mrsi (talk) 10:52, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You have continued adding links to arabic articles. This is disruptive and as such I have blocked your account from editing until you take note of the notices above. SmartSE (talk) 15:24, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I was a little hasty there and as a bot moves the links I guess that it isn't disruptive. It would make more sense for you to work at Wikidata however. SmartSE (talk) 15:33, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Asuristan may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 12:24, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome, and thank you for contributing the page Asuristan to Wikipedia. While you have added the page to the English version of Wikipedia, the article is not in English. We invite you to translate it into English. It currently has been listed at Pages Needing Translation, but if it is not translated within two weeks, the article will be listed for deletion. Thank you. SQGibbon (talk) 14:52, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

June 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to METRIC may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hi - you made a change to Earth analog adding a link to the Arabic article. This is no longer appropriate, cross-language links are now handled by clicking "edit links" under the list of languages in the left margin. I undid your edit and applied it correctly to the Wikidata archive. You may want to correct any other edits of this type you have made. Regards, Tarl.Neustaedter (talk) 17:16, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You may not have to go back and fix those other articles - it looks like there is a bot which cleans them up. See here. Regards, Tarl.Neustaedter (talk) 22:12, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, you may be blocked from editing. Please IMMEDIATELY STOP adding Arabic language links to Wikipedia articles. You have been pointed out above that all language links have been moved to WP:WIKIDATA. Language bodies should NOT contain any language links. Reverting all your edits is a huge waste of time for editors. Regards, kashmiri TALK 12:26, 19 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Articles that you have been involved in editing—Monotypic taxon and Monospecificity—have been proposed for merging with another article. If you are interested, please participate in the merger discussion. Thank you. Nessie (talk) 15:57, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
