Speedy deletion of ADC Fetal and Neonatal

[edit]

A tag has been placed on ADC Fetal and Neonatal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://oem.bmj.com/info/about.dtl. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Editing articles for journals

[edit]

Please do not remove material from articles without explanation while you are adding other material. Recent edits that have added detial regarding various journals also deleted content from these articles. Please be more cautious in future edits. You can contact me on my user talk page with any questions. Alansohn (talk) 13:40, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You're being discussed at the Wikipedia Conflict of interest Noticeboard

[edit]

Hello Harpreetrehal. You are welcome to join the discussion there. Please take a look at {{uw-coi}}, which is advice given to new contributors who may be affiliated with the subject of the articles they are editing. I'm especially concerned that you twice removed content from Gut (journal), which suggests you might be unfamiliar with how our system works, and you are marking all your edits as minor. You can fix the latter by going into Special:Preferences and click on the 'Editing' tab. There is a box for 'Mark all edits minor by default' which you should leave unchecked. We look forward to seeing you participate on Talk pages. When you do so, please sign your comments. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 16:48, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of ADC Fetal and Neonatal

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article ADC Fetal and Neonatal, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No notability indicated separate from Archives of Disease in Childhood.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Advice

[edit]

nd, also see our FAQ about businesses, other organisations, and articles like this. These journals are probably all of them notable, (except the "practice" editions) and as reviewing admin, I will quickly add enough for the purpose to keep them from immediate deletion. But you MUST write more comprehensive articles to show it. Include the name of the publisher, the ISSNs, the date established, s the circulation with a reference if available, the names of any earlier titles and the date of title changes, a statement of how much is available as an ejournal, the sort of Open access if any, the impact factor and rank in its group in ISI JCR if it has one, which most of them do, and a statement of which major indexes cover it. The editor in chief of a major journal is normally considered notable; you can add all the successive names, and link them to articles about them if here, or write them if not. Fill in the Journal infobox. Always remember not to copy from the journal web site. A reduced image of a journal cover is however desirable-- see other journal articles and WP:COPYRIGHT for how the licensing works. Do it right the first time. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Academic Journals for some further advice--and also our FAQ about businesses, other organisations, and articles like this, much of which applies. I've worked a lot here on academic journal articles, and feel free to contact me for help. DGG (talk) 22:01, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Injury Prevention (journal) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Promotional article by paid editor.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
