Speedy deletion nomination of Roberto Garcia Orozco[edit]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Roberto Garcia Orozco requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the importance of the subject, Speedy delete contest button.png. Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. 5hin3 (talk) 01:37, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to 1991 Rose Bowl may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

June 2015[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from FBI Los Angeles Field Office. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. FBI Los Angeles Field Office[edit]

Hi Hern76, given an absence of adequate referencing and a topic that can probably be accommodated in an existing article, I respectfully suggest that FBI Los Angeles Field Office should be merged with WP:redirect to List of FBI field offices. I welcome any input you may have; if so, please do so at the talk page for FBI Los Angeles Field Office. Subject to policy-based editor feedback, including any viewpoint you may provide, and to any properly referenced notable content that is added, I tentatively project making the proposed merger in 3 to 5 days. FeatherPluma (talk) 22:48, 20 June 2015 (UTC)

@Hern76: It looks like you are trying to add article content to enhance the article. It would be very good if you were to help by providing references for your additions. I added a {{Friendly search suggestions}} template tool to the Talk page to help you with that, although you probably also have other sources you need to be providing as you add content. Thanks, and Happy Editing ! FeatherPluma (talk) 22:57, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
Hi Hern76, I imagine you have very good sources for your additions. However, if you refuse to add references despite nice requests the content will need to be redacted per policy. Please consult WP:V and WP:RS if further assistance is needed. Also, there are a number a help sources including Wikipedia:Teahouse - you can get help by asking questions about how to do things properly. The essence of this message is a polite request to please add your sources. I am not picking on you personally, just asking very nicely for you to do the right thing. I am not going to remind you again, and this does not need further discussion. By the way, I notice that you may not have initially received a warm WP:WELCOME and I would very much like to extend that to you now. I am also going to take the liberty of adding you to the Love Cabal and so you will see a heart at the top of your page here - please feel free to remove this if you like. Thank you. FeatherPluma (talk) 23:14, 20 June 2015 (UTC) Updated FeatherPluma (talk) 00:23, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
@Hern76:, The Wikipedia community has endless patience for people who are gradually learning the various procedures here. That patience even extends all the way up the ladder through the additional scrutiny that gets involved when an editor flaunts policy, all the way to getting blocked. I advise you to pay attention to the repeated polite requests for referencing your content additions. This has been made clear both here and in the article's redaction edit summaries. If you insist on flaunting policy, all unreferenced content is going to be redacted, sorry. Furthermore, any such unreferenced material will clearly constitute nonconstructive editing and from this point on will be immediately reported, as well as posted on this page. Thank you very much for taking this advice into consideration going forward. There are of course no hard feelings if you decide to respect this core policy (consult the above linked content if you have need of any clarification). FeatherPluma (talk) 20:11, 22 June 2015 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to FBI Los Angeles Field Office, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. — JJMC89(T·E·C) 22:49, 20 June 2015 (UTC)

Please stop continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to FBI Los Angeles Field Office, without resolving the problem that the template refers to. This may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. — JJMC89(T·E·C) 22:58, 20 June 2015 (UTC)

Please stop adding unreferenced content, as you did to FBI Los Angeles Field Office . This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. There are of course no hard feelings at all if you decide to respect this core policy. Consult the above linked content if you have need of any clarification. FeatherPluma (talk) 20:20, 22 June 2015 (UTC)

Sources request / offer of assistance[edit]

@Hern76: The wp:merge with wp:redirect is now due. But I want to be as open as possible to working with you collaboratively. So I am going to extend the arbitrary timeline by another 48-72 hours, so that you can add any sources from which you derived your content additions. If you are unsure of how to do this but have sources, just type them up here, or on the article's Talk page, and I will be very pleased to format them for you. FeatherPluma (talk) 23:18, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

June 2015[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at FBI Los Angeles Field Office. — JJMC89(T·E·C) 03:57, 27 June 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
