Re: Adminship
Wow, HighwayCello, I really appreciate your confidence! I'd love to eventually become an administrator, but I'm not sure how much now would be the right time. I became an active user in January, so my edit count is still a bit low, hovering a bit less than 2000ish, I believe. Also, though I've recently begun getting more accustomed to fighting vandalism, I'd like to give my vandal whacking stick some more practice before having the possibility of using adminship powers to do so. I really appreciate that you have the confidence to nominate me, though, that means a lot. Tell you what, I'll start reading up the Administrator's reading list, and see how things are in a couple months. Oh, and Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy does look like a good article, so no fear! It's just controversial... hence the title. :) Thanks again! -- Natalya 18:57, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks! And I'll always be glad to help with stuff, admin or no. :) -- Natalya 21:21, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Good article nomination rule changes
excuse me, but it was Anjoe who unilaterally changed the rules on the 22.4. Besides the current rules are inconsistent to the rules on Wikipedia:Good_articles/Disputes. Raphael1 16:53, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- Well it has to do with you, if you regard my changes as vandalism and revert them, where I was actually reverting Anjoes changes 4 days ago. Raphael1 17:05, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Skarmory (again)
Several things: - Skarmory is _never_ used in doubles. - Skarmbliss is obsolete, and Skarmbliss was never a combo used in doubles, they don't fight along side one another, but simply switch in and out, since Blissey counters Skarmory's weaknesses and Skarmory is strong against Blissey's counters. - By simply specifying that Spikes is a ground attack, explanation that it doesn't hit fliers is unecessary. - The first paragraph already gives a basic explanation of Spikes mechanics anyway. - Charziard was used in GSC, but in that generation Skarm didn't learn Spikes. - Ever since 2003, Charizard has seen very little competative play, hardly "the most powerful Pokémon," and virtually none in standard advance tournaments. - The syntax of the last sentence doesn't make much sense, it seems to contradict most of what's stated above.
Taking all that into account, it's probably best just to delete the second paragraph. If you're just trying to fill space, then dig up the part about counters, it's better to have unnecessarily redundant information than to have information that's factually inaccurate, and besides, Magneton deserves mention much more than Charizard.Artemis Kuiper 22:03, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Re: AHHHHHHHHHH
Hey Highway, first step, close your eyes, and take a deep breath.
*BREATH*
There. I'm sorry to hear that this situation has escalated into such unplesantness. But the most important thing is to not let it get to you! Take some time away from the issue - nothing long, just a few hours, half a day perhaps. Edit something you have fun with, hang out at the Coffee Lounge, or do something completely non-Wikipedia related altogether. When there is a buildup of anger from different parties, it is hard for anything to be accomplished.
You are not alone in your frustration with User:Raphael1. If you take a look at the section User_talk:Raphael1#3RR and the two sections below on his talk page, others share your concern.
I have been reading over the disagreements relating to Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy, both the dispute of it as a good article and the larger issue of who should be allowed to delist article, and think I have a general grasp on things. I will do my best to try and diffuese the situation. -- Natalya 03:13, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- Ahhhh you crack me up. I'm just hoping that I can accomplish something. :D Thanks for fixing the misplaced comment on my talk page, by the by. -- Natalya 11:04, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

- Oh, haha, I get it now, I thought you meant "you" as in anyone, not me personally. Well, I can at least fix the barnstar; I was trying not to make the page too wide for smaller viewing sizes, but if should just go down to the next line if it's too small anyway. I fixed that one :) -- Natalya 15:54, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Re: Salac Berry
Salac berry currently functions on Netbattle as it should, and I fail to understand why this was brought to my attention, unless it was to make the point that Netbattle standards shouldn't be used for example. If this is the case, it's probably worth mentioning that Nintendo's Journey Across America series of doubles tournaments has gone to numerous locations, and Skarmory and Blissey have yet to see any play, because being walls, they thrive in singles. Re: Second opinion
According to the WP:3RR, it does look like it. If you look at the reverts on 29 April, you can count them at 6:49, 11:23, 16:49 (a partial revert), and 17:22. That makes four within less than 24 hours, none of which were simple vandalism or anything else not counting under the rule. I have listed it at the 3RR Administrators' Noticeboard. -- Natalya 17:04, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

Re: Fruity award
Last time I checked, "fruity" was still a derogatory term referencing homosexuality. That, combined with the less-than-friendly tone of the entire message don't make it very helpful, or appropriate. Just check to make sure that we're not missing out on an actual award (barnstar, etc.) that is called the "Fruity award". I doubt it, though. And there's no need to apologize, I'm always glad to help. :)-- Natalya 23:13, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

- I think all articles in question should be modified to be more compatible with my change. Taking care of repetive usage is the point of templates. --Cat out 23:51, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
It's late, I'll explain tomorrow. Basically all the articles used the template with "it is known as !"$%£ in Japanese" and you changed it to "it is known as Japanese:!"$%£ in Japanese". Yeah. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 23:51, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- I see. Still I think "it is known in japanese" is unnecesary. We can just use the format I came up with. --Cat out 23:52, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- Your change does not work into good English. It is very difficult to make a defunct label work into context. And it isn't your template, all edits are equal. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 23:53, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- I am going to fucking sleep. I will deal with this tomorrow. Please leave it until I can sort this out. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 23:53, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- There is no one forcing you to respond immidiately. When I post on a talk page I expect people to respond at the most convinient time to them. Please be civil.
- My change works fine with english. I have been using that syntax on a very large number of articles. Take a look at List of Oh My Goddess episodes and all linked episode pages (aside from ovas).
- Any template I create or make significant change becomes "my template" in a conversation for easy referance. Saying "my" is much more conviniant than repetively typing out the templats name. This doesnt mean I own them of course.

- I am going to fucking sleep. I will deal with this tomorrow. Please leave it until I can sort this out. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 23:53, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- Fine, I'm sorry it was 1am and I was tired. Is there any way we can come to a compromise? Could we have to separate templates? It's just completely fecked up articles that use paragraphs. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 10:55, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
- Well, we can rewrite every paragraph to make them better. I vote for that option. All I want is whats best for wikipedia. The syntax I propose has been the standard I observed.
- We do not have to follow either suggestion. I just feel a sentence is redundent when its talking about the japanese meaning in a lenghty tone which could also be achieved with one word: (Japanese: )
- --Cat out 14:16, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
- All that does is trap editors into having rewrite a sentence a particular way because of it. Now you can have Japanese shoved at the front of another template, but please at least leave one that still functions fine alone to at least preserve the thousands of articles it would damage. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 14:19, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

- Ok, lets get one thing straight. I am not trying to disrupt wikipedia nor trapping anyone. Your hostile attitide is starting to bother me.
- It is possible to rewrite the 'thousands of articles' with a bot in a few seconds so thats not an issue either. So there is no damage.
- So what is the issue, that I dont understand.
